    I'm working on my Survival games map for the Planet Minecraft contest(http://www.planetmin...al-games-arena/), and I made my map on a miners dream super flat world (its underground). I decided that I want people to be able to go above ground as well to provide space for more chests as I don't have 200 as required by the contest (I only have like 150 or so). I also want to get rid of some of the chest in the caves because its chest heavy. So I decided to copy and paste it into a normal world so I can terraform the world, but my map is too big and when I try to copy it I get this error "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space" I cant take any more blocks off of the area I'm copying, and I think I just need to raise the heap space, any one know how I can do that?

    posted a message on computer craft functions list (things like sleep and redstone.setOutput)
    I am new to Lua and computer craft. I've learned some stuff from seth bling's programming tutorial, and have written a few basic programs, but I am constrained by the lack of functions I know (I believe they are called functions, I am talking about things like redstone.setOutput, print, and sleep). So I was hoping that those who are lua gods and probably have them all memorized to help by forming a list here.

    there is one function that I really want to know about, I need a function that acts like the redprobe program that tells if a specific side of the computer is powered

    BEFORE POSTING make sure that you read the posts to see if any of the functions you are about to post have already been posted. these also have to work in COMPUTER CRAFT

    This is weird. So I installed this (1.4.6 version, because I already had it downloaded) and i was running the 1.4.7 prerelease.jar. It was working fine, until I lagged my game out with tnt (the brush tool places a lot of blocks... lol) and when I logged on the wand and brush stopped working, so I made new ones and they didn't ether. so I re-installed it, still didn't work. I then gave up. I just went on my minecraft and everything didn't work, when i did /help it showed the vanilla help screen. I just re-installed it and now its just the wand and brush as far as I can tell don't work.

    So I was modding my game and it was working fine when I stopped. the next time I loged on and opened a world it crashed. i tried joining a server and it crashed, so I tried reinstalling mods. did the same thing. i had a fresh .jar that i had used to make the moded copy, so I tried that. didn't work. tried geting force update. still didn't work. even tried a brand new minecraft folder. still crashed. I have no idea what is going on. I have looked at the help section of the mojang website to no avale, and have run out of options.

    caves... is a adventure map that I just started making and planing today, and I must say, its coming slowly. But trust me will be worth the wait.

    If your torch doesn't have fire aspect 1, install single player commands (http://www.minecraft...icial-download/) and type the command /maxstack 50 1 and put the torch in your hand and put in the command /enchant add fire_aspect 1(this and the mod bellow are to make the torch more realistic by providing light and being able to inflict damage by burning, it will not be a reliable weapon but it can help if you get ambushed)
    A few rules:
    1.Install these mods (http://www.atomicstr...amiclights.html) and put your brightness on moody(if you don't install the mod you can set you brightness half way up), and (http://www.minecraft...man-ghast-nerf/) just to protect my maps redstone and shiz. :) please put on enderman nerf and anti grief files. (you will need modloader for the first mod so here's the link (http://www.minecraft...minary-updates/))
    2.Start on peaceful (the map will tell you to change it, and please do so when it does, but I don't want mobs at the beginning) .
    3. NO other mods(they are ok if they don't affect game play by adding or changing mobs, or your just not going to use them (please don't).
    4.play in adventure mode, this is a adventure map so... yeah.

    I am a relatively new member to the minecraft community, but ever sense I started playing in version 1.0.0 I have always been fascinated by red stone. Because of this I have been spending most of my time looking at, and building replicas of other peoples red stone contraptions to understand the properties of red stone, and I feel that I am capable of designing and building my own red stone contraptions, BUT I need ideas!

    I think that grass should not grow back naturally from a oasis, but if you bone meal the dirt next to it it would spread a little bit and after you used bone meal to spread grass over a large enough area it would start to grow on its own.
