dropping forge will have a back affect more people will want the mods that most are going forge,
they will choose other mods over BTW simple because they cant have any others, no buildcraft no redpower wires on walls,no industrial craft.
The top 4 mods are Redpower,Industrialcraft,BTW,Buildcraft these 4 mods need to work side by side. not counting npc mods
I think lasers mod might end up on the top 5 lol

Forge is to usefull Lower id count,No sprites
What happens when you reach your id and sprite limit? then add forge? or no other mod allowed with your mod peroid?
Nah im telling you bad idea to drop forge.
Not trying to be a bad guy or anything but all this work your putting into this great mod is going to be put into a category of the none popular mods which in turn slowly vanish this mod cant vanish and whats the point for ANYONE to download it if they cant have any other mods? minecraft vanilla, minecraft btw, minecraft with everyone mod out there side from btw? I SAY NO!! lol
So what if your not in on the updating of forge, Just send in requests for hooks or have someone else they way no sprites low block id's and more mods working together :smile.gif:

Ive tried everything i know to get this working just keeps saying the same thing, the only thing is i had this working with forge 1.1.1 and i have the client side working with forge 1.1.2 so i really dont know what the problem is,

BTW: Variables aren't coming with custom stuff 1.8. The only things I'm adding before release are new functions. So I'm going to release it tomorrow.

If your using test version of the custom stuff you have to have an entire .png
The terrain.png for example has 16 textures from left to right and a total of 256 textures the first texture on it would be 0
Easy fix just copy the terrrain.png from your jar file rename it to what you want then edit any texture on it and use the number for your texture
hope thats easy enough to understand
edit: Correct me if im wrong but you can use iconfile=name for none forge version

2nd How do i make it change by an Item only no empty had has to be rightclicked with an item.
3rd How do i make a block only allowed to be placed on 1 type of block?

all the way up to 255 and restarts and keeps going is the error log for customitems mod
Where does one place the textures for the server? I have placed both in Jar and in Zip but the errror still pops up
And what exactly does Damage value on blocks do?
Edit: Ive placed it in many other areas still no luck lol
if you want to see my block here they are. My 5 block are all the same minus the gravity this block is the only one with it.
ps. The black textures i fixed it was the damagevalue=10 dont know what damagevalue does but just deleted that from the text and wamo i had it fixed
