I've finally got my gold trophy though...535 dragons so far
I don't know how often I'll be posting around here but I may drop in every now and then.
For rarer dragons it takes about 700-800 and for more common ones it takes about 400-500 views. However, these are only estimates. There isn't an exact number that you need.
Kind of new to the Dragon Cave here, and I am kind of addicted to it. I managed to snag a Black Dragon Egg, and the only Black Dragon parent is an alt version. So, I have two questions to ask, being new to this and all. The wiki states that the Black Dragon is rare, but is it truly rare like the wiki says, because it is listed in the Common and Uncommon category on the Dragon Types page. Also, since the only dragon parent that is the same species as my egg is an alt form, does that mean my hatchling will be a alt also?
Welcome to DC! Blacks are generally considered highly uncommon if they're low-gen or have really pretty lineages. Caveborn blacks are considered rare and some people will also include second-gen black from black x alt sweetling as being rare too. Blacks with messier lineages are on the uncommon spectrum and aren't really considered rare. If a black has an alt parent it doesn't necessarily mean that the egg will hatch alt, but many people believe that it has a higher chance of being an alt if one of its parents is. (which isn't really true) Alts are considered uncommon.
I hate it when it takes me a second to realize what dragon it is, then I frantically click but don't get it cause I waited too long. I've missed out on so many metallics like that.
that happened to me but with a magi I hate how you have to wait 5 hours before you can abandon CB eggs...
Gahh I hate that too! Part of the reason why I got most of my turpentines from a trade.
On the bright side, since I'm able to breed more valuable eggs, I'm starting to get some really nice trades. 2nd gen PB magma and an ice tinsel-fail included If anyone wants 2-gen PB black eggs, 2-gen PB nebulas, or a 2-gen black stripe from stripe x black just ask and I'll put you on a breeding list.
