Jimmy I am not able to get on the server, it says server out of date. Is this me or the server. It has a red 1.6.2 and X in the box. Anyway I will check back every once in a while to see what I need to do

what does it mean whitelist off or on. is that the reason I cant get on? or is it because I am on a different computer then usual

I meant that I had the chat turned off so I couldn't type to change the game mode

figured it out chat was hidden from previous game all is well now

When I played on that server I just went to multiplayer and typed in the code, is whitelist different?

I would like to play it but when I downloaded it, the map was in creative and I don't know how to change it to survival, It won't be a challenge or fun in creative

I am having trouble increasing my farm animals the babies keep disappearing (dying or despawning) Even when I increased the pen size the most I can get is 3 total

lots of wood after you buy a tree from the farmer but I do agree that the constant night is depressing

I have a mac and after I hit the download button I retrieved it to my desk from the place where downloads go when I hit open it coughed out a file that I put in my saves, I have only had the mac 2 weeks and I didn't download anything special to my knowledge.

on my 3rd restart now and it took forever to secure my town. I am wondering if the new download changed enough to restart again?

not sure how long I survived since it is night all the time, my farmer villager was killed so I am doing my first start over. That tells me its a good map if I have to start over. One suggestion would be to confine the villagers a little more so it is not so hard to get out the gates.

If I can download it I will give it a try

What to do. In the normal course of this game I have restarted many times including after watching let plays so I can incorporate better ideas. Finally I have gotten to the point where I have weakness potion and went to look at the zombies around my villager hut to look for a convert and behold my villager had vanished. I just don't know if I can start again. However this is the first time I have done many thing in the game (never worked with potions) so it has been a great learning experience. I have learned a lot of great moves from your maps.
now I have to decide if I want to make two villagers and then after I get my first emerald pretend like I earned silk touch shovel.
Please put something unique and interesting in your next lets play so I will want to start over.

I have been experimenting and looking in the forum and wiki but can't find how to light the portal with lava. Can you direct me to a tutorial
