    @simeonradivoev Any idea why I can't get the high jump ability?


    I'm unable to get the high jump ability using the Android Station. I have 37 levels of XP and have a piston in my inventory. I also have the limb overclocking ability already (x2 actually). Is there some trick to this or is this a bug? I'm playing the latest version of the FTB Horizons: Daybreak pack.

    I was giving it lots of space. After constant right clicking at various angles I finally got it, but I was giving it space. I freakin' knew that much.

    Is there some trick to placing turbines? I'm trying to place the first turbine about 3 blocks above the steam grate, but can't. What's the rules for where the mutli-block turbine can be placed?

    Yes, I was seriously failing to grasp that. To me it was one bucket. I didn't look that the amount!

    Put one bucket in - it works for 10 mins. Now put one bucket in - it works for 10 secs. EEK! wth happened? Oh Reika made the bucket into a teaspoon. :)

    If you don't want to pipe fuel into your turbine directly, you have a bunch of good options. The cheapest and simplest would be to emulate your current setup by using a vanilla tank which pipes to the turbine. You can right-click buckets into that, walk away, and have your ore processed when you get back.(stupid idea if you're able to right-click turbines directly with buckets; I forget)

    Another option is to use an ECU (Engine Control Unit). It only operates and consumes fuel when provided a redstone signal. If you have a block that can detect "has work" or "has contents" on the extractor (Reika's Expanded Redstone has a chest reader), you can ensure your microturbine is only running when there's actually ore to process.

    I was actually using the "right-click with bucket of jet fuel" trick. :) I liked that I could control when the extractor was running and only put in enough to make sure none was wasted (as well as one click and you have enough jet fuel to run for a little bit).

    I'll look into the ECU since I'll need another method of getting jet fuel into these microturbine and not waste it.

    I think I see the point now.

    In v22, I'd put a bucket into the frac. unit and get out 8 buckets of jet fuel. Put that into the microturbine and it would run for awhile (10 min approx). Now with the change to the buckets in v25, I get out 1 bucket of jet fuel. Which I would agree is correct.

    I don't usually have automation to continually produce stuff I may not need. I make what I need and then use it. Extra isn't laying around.

    So, I was utilizing a feature of buckets that wasn't right. If I just get a bigger bucket somehow, then I'm back to normal. No functionality loss.

    Sorry Reika for spamming you. I didn't mean to. I honestly thought there was no way he would have the time to read this forum, youtube, PMs, so I thought I try them all. Really, I wasn't trying to be a jerk.

    I hate email, I think it people jump to the conclusion that everyone is trying to be an a**.

    Thanks. I'll look at getting a better jet fuel transportation system.

    Ouch, I think this change just made microturbines useless..
    v25
    RotaryCraft: All bucket types are now equivalent to 1000mB

    I had two microturbines powering an extractor. Put in a bucket of jetfuel in each and it would work through most of a stack of iron with one bucket, now it doesn't even start processing! The fuel is used up before the microturbine even gets up to full speed!?

    I was using v22 before I updated to v25. I "upgraded" because I couldn't place the turbine multiblock. I'm able to do that now, but I'm not liking this change to jet fuel buckets.

    I think the change in v23 is what I wanted to fix the turbine multiblock placement:

    Help! Jet fuel is expensive.

    Yes, the shift key works fine outside of minecraft.What part of the control settings should I check? I couldn't find a setting for the shift key in fly mode (at least not in 1.9).

    My 10 year old was complaining to me yesterday that the shift key wasn't working in flying mode anymore. She was playing with version 1.8.1 and said it worked before. I installed version 1.9 beta 5, but it still doesn't work. In order to go down one square she has to go all the way down and then go back up and hopefully stop where she wants to. Kinda tough.

    Anyone ran into this problem? Is it a bug? Since it was working in 1.8.1 before I'm not sure what would have changed to cause it not to work.
