I've been playing with this texture pack for a while, and I can confidently say that it is my favorite (ever), and is absolutely stunning. In fact, I can say only two things seem out of place (and for my picky self, that is amazing). Please don't get offended by anything I say, I'm just trying to help.
Firstly, the crafting table, with its bright red top, doesn't really fit in with the soft, rustic feel of the pac.
The crafting table is right in the middle of the cow farm. As you can see, its bright red makes it a little too noticeable. I'm certainly not an expert, but maybe turn it down a shade or two? As it is now, it really doesn't fit the softer, more mellow artwork of the pack. (and this is all in my opinion, please don't get offended)
The other thing is the jungle tree wooden planks. The other three wooden planks look great (as with the rest of the pack), but these are a little too... red, and... don't have enough shading??? I don't know, I'm not the expert, I can just see that they don't really fit in.
The jungle planks are the bright red things making up the pathway in the center of the picture. As you can see, it doesn't really blend with the rest of the pack. All the wood in the pic (except the birch in the background) is jungle, and even the planks and wood don't even match that great, to my untrained eye.
Otherwise, this is a beautiful pack, you did a fabulous job!
Well, if they log in for 24 minutes in real-life time, they are in there for a full day, so they spend little time in real life while actually living a whole 24 hour day in Minecraft, that is because computers can simulate things much faster than they are in real life and I just wanted to keep the time ratio the Minecraft we know has (actually not sure if it is 20 or 24 minutes for one day and night cycle). The connection to the brain is formed via the wires in the keyboard and the mouse. After you click the login button you black out and wake up on the server, your player character disappears after a few minutes to prevent obstruction, you are eiter awake in real life or on the server. Everything is of course secured by a registration system on a website so that you do not accidentally join this server, imagine that would happen to you. For those not signed up on the website the "cannot reach server" page opens. On the site they are told to tell their siblings/parents/husbant/wife about the server to prevent the misunderstandings you refered to.
Thanks for the positive feedback ^^
Good point, but isn't the log off screens disabled for the "slaves", so they would be forced to spend all of their time playing minecraft? Even if every day in minecraft is only 24 real minutes, when you spend a year on the server, like Fire, that adds up to quite a large amount of time. 8,760 minutes of real-life time, to be precise, which amounts to about six days. Obviously, if I spent six days blacked out on my computer, someone would notice. (Please note that I'm not challenging you, I just want to see what would happen) As I said, great job with the story, it's really engaging!
I like it! Fire was very creative, he has very nice... abilities that makes him fun to read about.
Just a note, when a bunch of characters are talking, it can get a little confusing, don't forget to start a new paragraph every time someone talks! Also, every time you start a new paragraph, indent! Otherwise, great story, you did a really good job!
There is one thing I'm curious about. How do new players join the server? I assume they log on to minecraft (on a computer), and enter the server (they got the IP from somewhere), but wouldn't that leave a slightly... suspicious, dead-looking body in the chair? Please, explain!
It does look a bit medieval, but you are working on it. The main problem is that it looks kinda like a tutor house, with the steeply pitched roof, and dark cross timbering with white(ish) "stucco". As I said. it makes a decent tutor house, but still needs some work on the modernness. Keep it up though, you're getting there, and I can't wait to see it turn out!
I actually have no idea what's wrong with the spider. I'll have to have a look for myself.
EDIT: Hmm....spiders seem to be working just fine for me.
Typical of me. I probably deleted something important . I tried re-installing the texture pack, but it's still the same. I'll look into it more later. Anyways, this is still my absolute favorite texture pack, and that's after 3 hours of play (since I downloaded it), which is something not many packs can claim.
Veering off topic, are you planning on doing potions any time soon? They look kinda out of place... If not, SHAME *shakes fist*. Kidding, I imagine maintaining at least 3 texture packs at once is exhausting.

It looks really nice! Is it just me, or are the buildings slowly getting prettier?
