At the moment, I am unable to join my brothers LAN world, yet I am able to join friend servers that aren't over the LAN. When I try to connect to him, the loading screen hangs for about 20-30 seconds before getting a "java.net.connectexception no further information" error screen. He also cannot see any LAN worlds I host. I have allowed the game through my firewall, opened up the TPC and UPD ports 25565, I have Minecraft set to run as administrator, and I am allowing it through Windows Defender, as well as Java. I am using release version 1.7.9, and he is too. Any information on how to fix this would be appreciated.
So many topics about the exact same thing: "I'm leaving minecraft becasue ...". Listen, no offense, but no one really cares if some obscure person left. People should realize by now that posting these topics will only lead to back lash.
Why do people refer to gold as "budder"? Budder is marijuana, the correct term is butter, anyways. Also, the fanbase (obviously) is a serious problem too. I just got told in a pm to go to hell because I don't like "budder" or "buddar" or whatever he says these days... >_>

+ Graphics replaced with CoD-esque graphics
+ Bow replaced with 20 different variants of guns

Maybe Sky meant for it to be like that. Think about it, he predicts that him saying "budder" will catch on, so he says it like that as if to make it seem as though he says it in a weird way, when he actually means "marijuana". It makes sense if you think about it, too, as this "budder" thing became a fad as quickly as people get high on Marijuana.
You honestly cannot please the Minecraft community. When 1.2.5 came out UPDATES ARE TOO SLOW. When they started updating regularly UPDATES COME OUT TOO FAST!
I don't agree with using Steam for Minecraft. I like Steam, but I don't want Minecraft on Steam, or many, MANY problems can arise, plus, some people may not want to use Steam. I'd prefer Minecraft stay on it's own server, not Steam.
