Over the next few days players will have the option to join 6 Core Groups, each one having a leader from players that i have specifically picked for the roles. The End Kings will be lead by me, and our main goal will be to use the dark books and aritfacts to revive espazorous, and then restore the ancient kingdoms, and destroy the artifacts that despazorous has created. The Guardians will be the second group, and they currently have no leader, but they probably will soon. The Guardians main goal is to defend the world as it is now, to keep the artifacts of despazorous around, and to help despazorous maintain controll. The Seekers, which are lead by @EmilioIsWellCool are attempting to controll all 100 books and utilize thier power to make all humans imortal. The Librarians are attempting to recieve all 100 darkbooks to revive Espazorous, and live in a world where the two gods balance eachtoher out, neither one overruling the other. The Warriors wish to defend Despazorous, and completely crush what is left of espazorous, hoping to wipe out all humans that dont support despazorous. And lastly, The Sailers, who wish to completely Erase the gods, and advance humans to a new age of technology. The sailers also have a huge distaste for elytra, and want to destroy all elytra on the server, since they fell that elytra are corrupt and evil. As i mentioned, only the Seekers and the Endkings currently have leaders, but more players are being invited to take leadership of these groups.These groups will not be complete alliances, and there can be fighting for controll of one of these groups of players. Betraying members of your own group is still complete allowed, and unless you are a leader, you are free to join any group you want at your own will. These groups will be important for tournaments and certain in game events, so everyone should be ready for waht is coming! We are looking for 3 more team leaders, so if you have friends that want to join with you and you can play actively than i will consider you for a group leader position, join the discord for more details.
Just a quick update, the artifact system has become much more structured. Players now will find artifacts with one dark book every time. Dark books are set up in series, and by owning an entire series, a player can receive a super artifact. Super artifacts are insanely strong and complete game changers when it comes to PVP. There are currently two teams of 4 or so players each, and we would like to get up to around 4 or 5 teams, so we are also introducing a new rank called Captain. By having 4 players join with you, you can receive access to /repair, /craft, /feed, and a few others.
Just a quick update: We have decided that we are going to be giving ranks to players who invite a group of 4 more players with them. You do not necessarily have to be a team, but it is recommended. Players with this rank will be able to set a home, and have assess to a few other cool commands. We hope to have a few more groups of players that can compete with the main two. Espazorous is a survival minecraft server with a few twists. Me and about 10 friend have been playing through realms for about 2 years now, but we finally decided to switch to a server. Espazorous has very few rules, and a tightly knit community around it making it unique compared to most other servers I have seen. I highly recommend having a close group of friends when you join, since surviving on the server can be very hard for players by themselves.
Griefing, stealing, and PVP are all allowed and even encouraged. Almost every week we hold a competition (Not always PVP related), where winners get huge rewards that are otherwise unobtainable. The main purpose of the server is to collect as many "Dark Books" as possible. These can be obtained through competitions, or found scattered throughout the world. There are also artifacts which can be found throughout the world, which are basically just items with special abilities attached. Right now there are two main teams, but the players on the server are looking to see more teams join the server. Other than basic Spawn Protection, their are very few alterations from vanilla survival.
Rules:
1. Do not grief the spawn/ Do not spawn camp.
2. Do not use any third party clients or mods.
3. Combat Logging is HIGHLY frowned upon. Their is not a current combat logging plugin in place, but if combat logging becomes a problem, we will be forced to add one.
I would like to emphasize this point: This server is not for everyone. Some players will enjoy the style and community of the server, but it is pretty hardcore, and most of us are long term players. Starting off is not easy, and without a group to join with you, it can seem very difficult starting off. We love having new players join, but be prepared to lose progress often, and don't be angry when it happens. The best players on the server even have difficulty hiding bases and protecting themselves, that is how the server is set up!
The realm (and soon to be server) now has its own discord! Those looking to be one of the last 3 white listed before the server move should head there for invites!
