I have recently built a slime farm, with all the requirements. It’s in a slime chunk, i checked chunk base twice, i lit up a decent amount of caves and such around it, i could do a better job. it’s 16 x 16 and 3 blocks high, it’s below y40 but i have not gotten a single slime to spawn in yet. i have been going the 200 blocks away, coming back and afking 28 ish blocks away from the farm for 10 minutes, and still no slimes. I’m on bedrock ps4, and any ideas would be very helpful. I would light everything up more but i’m worried something else is wrong because i haven’t seen a single slime yet.
First, i’m on bedrock on ps4, so i can’t use f3. i also have used chunk base twice to check my seed for the slime chunk, and both times it lines up. i can maybe try doing a better job with lighting up, but i feel like somehow it isn’t a slime chunk or something since i haven’t seen a single slime yet and i don’t want to put in the effort to light everything up even more if i haven’t even seen a single slime yet. i let it sit overnight, and i’m going to check it and try again in a hour or so and see if it works now

just to be sure, going 24-32 blocks away in the y direction works? like the bottom level is at y7 and if i went up to y 35 it should work for me?
