So I'm thinking of getting the Aether mod once it updates. Will Metallurgy ores spawn in the Aether?

Yes, you will need to change ids, but it will work

Actually, there's a new mod pack in FTB with Metallurgy included.

Update is ready, waiting on our host to let us know its up then it'll be posted.

Also I need to form a changelog still. I'll be at work for awhile so the changelog could take some time.

Will it be posted on Twitter or the forum first?

Good idea. I actually would like to see ALL the Halo games for PC, but it probably will never happen. One thing that I really want to see on PC though, is Metroid Prime Trilogy. Those were the three most epic games I have ever played. Also they were they were the only good thing about the Wii. That game had the best Retro music I have ever heard in any video game. Even the credit sequence sounds awesome:

Any chance of this(or any of your mods) making it into FTB or Tekkit? I know this was discussed with Metallurgy, but I'm wondering if this one has a chance. (I think Aquaculture actually has the best chance since FTB has nothing that overhauls fishing.)

For anyone interested, I just released a playtest version of Atum on my twitter.

to get started you need the Diamond Scarab

Then build a portal frame as shown

right click the center sandstone block with the scatab to create the portal.

Please report any bugs you find to the github

Couple things, 1, is it compatable with Metallurgy? and 2. I can't find your Twitter link for the latest Metallurgy build.

Not sure where to report Prerelease bugs, so I'll post it here for now. I tried putting two Spruce planks in a Stone Crusher to get two iron dust, and this was the result:

So about the Metallurgy .jar version, that just goes into the mods folder, correct? ( I haven't been on this thread for about half a year, been busy with school and FTB in case you're wondering)

I just checked the wiki, and whoever has been working on it has been doing an awesome job! One thing I'd llike to see, however, is a set of inctructions on how to add it to the FTB Mindcrack pack(and others). It could be really helpful for a lot of people.

Well, as you know, if you build your own....
To me, this fits perfectly into the tech/industry mods. Crushers? Smelters? C'mon---runs right along side them. (even replacing parts of some) ;)

What was their problem with it exactly? If they want shadow to change his content, then can he simply make another version of this mod strictly for FTB, while still having the full version for everyone else?

    add aluminum!

It will be part of modern metals, which I hope will come out soon.

Unrelated, anybody have servers set up with this? Sk8's server is down.

This isn't really metallurgy related, but I use it with FTB, so hopefully someone can help. I was playing Feed the Beast today, and an angry zombie dropped an item called a "stolen present" when I killed it with my steel looting sword. Any idea what the present does? I tried the FTB forums and nobody knew.
