Have you ever played Wow? That game has a lot of updates since the begining. And none of those updates have introduced new bugs. (With a few exceptions, of course. There are always bugs in every game.) And why is this? Because they spend more time testing the new content than even programing it.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
That's hilarious. Having played WoW myself for over 2 years, I can say that's absolute bullsh!t.
They certainly never when live with "patches" that ended up crashing the game and forced them to take the servers down again almost immediately to fix it. Nope, never at all.
Definitely. Even being fully decked out in enchanted diamond armor won't save you if you're in the nether and you finger slips off the shift key. "ghost_warlock tried to swim in lava."
I'm having noticeably more difficulty finding diamonds in this update, too, but I think it's just sampling error. Possibly, it could have something to do with the layout/generation of the caves in my area - really starting to see why people complain that the world is like swiss-cheese. I'm planning on starting a mine in another location.
Although, come to think of it, the wither is sort of a gear check boss. You need a diamond pick to mine obsidian, which the nether portal is made of. But smithies make a way around that.
Yeah, you need soulsand to build the wither itself, but why do you need to mine obsidian? You can make a nether portal by pouring water onto lava. You can make a nether portal with some dirt and 3 pieces of iron (to make a bucket). You could conceivably do it without a bucket by using natural lava- and water-falls, but it's much harder to get lava into the proper shape without.
This is the only one I've ever used since going caving or into the nether usually nets enough XP for me. I've refined it a little, but nothing major - just adding a half-block so the zombies can't actually attack me.

Always carry at least 12 wooden planks - if all else fails you can quickly craft a chest to stash it all in. You might find your way back someday...

Meet a blood-sucking tick, not to be confused with a humorous blue super-hero.

Though, the bat-noise is almost as annoying as spider noises.
