posted a message on 1.15.2 epic seed- (Almost) all rare biomes available! And some interesting structures

The seed is -8029928066082808481. I mostly hunt for rare biomes but there are some amazing structures in this seed as well. This is the best seed I have ever played on.

To start off with, here are the very rare biomes I have seen on this world. Images are provided for the rarest of the rare. As well as unique structures I settled in the rarest I could find, but nothing less could genuinely be expected. With sample coordinates.

    Taiga Mountains: 1 (-21405 87 -23548)

Badlands: 4 (Badlands and the next two all at -41458 69 -65103. This place also has a surface located cave spider spawner)

    Eroded Badlands: 2 (As above)

Modified Wooded Badlands Plateau: 2 (As above)

Mega Taiga: 3 (One of them is the largest biome I have ever seen in a default world. I once starved to death in that forest. I call it the Cherusti forest, after my favourite real-life forest. The coordinates below are to a spruce mega taiga which is part of the forest)

Spruce Mega Taiga: 2 (Significantly smaller- the best at -24033 80 -31303)

    Ice Spikes: 2 (-79962 65 9616)

    Mushroom fields: 1 (38679 79 54046)

    Tall Birch Forest: 5 (-56152 86 -101954)

    Modified Jungle: 2 (See below)

    Modified Gravelly Mountains: 2 (One at -23054 75 -26060)

Shattered savanna: 4 (the tallest unbroken mountain I have yet encountered is 217 blocks high. There is also a large floating island rising to the same height. At -56587 217 15921)

Shattered savanna plateau: 2 (Mountains aren't nearly as impressive, but still nice. At -46331 79 -83719)

    MODIFIED JUNGLE EDGE: 2 (One at 427 80 -280, the other at -6032 89 -2352

    Snowy Taiga Mountains: 0

    Modified Badlands Plateau: 0

So for now looking for just the two biomes. It is rather ironic that I managed to find 2 modified jungle edges, the rarest biome in the game, one albeit with a seed for that but the other genuinely myself, but the second and third have stayed elusive despite a lot of searching. This seed is an interesting one. You spawn in a jungle, but there is a modified jungle edge near the spawn near point 427 100 -280 and extends for some distance.

Here are the rare and interesting structures I found:

    Fossils: 3 (One at 100500 53 100278, another at -76042 43 -143871, another at -63287 43 -112107)

Land ocean ruins: 3 (One is in a mega taiga- at -27871 91 -36281)

ICE SPIKES VILLAGE (Technically just a snowy tundra village but a large part of it sits in a neighbouring Ice Spikes biome. -55801 76 19032): 1

WATER VILLAGE: 2 (One is seriously almost fully on water with all but a tiny island nearby. That one is at -71483 70 9888)

SUNFLOWER PLAINS VILLAGE: 39826 64 48394. Was the site of a tremendous pillager raid, thankfully beaten back

There was also a nice village at 39584 75 45729, some buildings literally under mountain overhangs, but during a out-of-control raid there the iron golems I made turned on me. So I... briefly fell to the 'dark side'.

And the largest village I have yet encountered was unfortunately one destroyed by zombies. It was partially in a roofed forest. That one is at -53488 65 -96943)

I also saw an interesting phenomenon as well. It was sometime during another raid during a storm. A skeleton was shooting arrows at me, but I was in the process of charging a vindicator. So the skeleton somehow managed to shoot a bee. The bee then charged the skeleton and stung it. I never saw anything like this at all.

This seed is, to short, lovely. Any future updates to locations will be listed here.

posted a message on Poll for rarity of biomes

By far the rarest biome is a Modified Jungle Edge, that is a fact, even rarer than mushroom islands, though a landlocked mushroom island is even rarer

posted a message on Colossal 1.15.2 seed- 2 MODIFIED JUNGLE EDGE within 10000 BLOCKS OF EACH OTHER

On the same -8029928066082808481 seed, the biggest mega taiga I have ever seen has also been found.

The forest starts at -24555 63 -29868. The mega taiga is rare on its own- much rarer than a jungle, but this massive forest is also home to one of the rarest biomes in minecraft, and the first time I encounter it: giant spruce taiga.

Images of all and coordinates are attached below. I can't believe I found them. Now, a very cumbersome attempt is being made to map the entire forest.

After this, the only biomes left are ice spikes, mushroom island (hoping for a landlocked one), badlands, and snowy taiga mountains out of the very rare ones. I am also looking for shattered savanna simply because it looks awesome. The forest appears to stretch over a thousand blocks in the northeastern direction. It is almost completely mega taiga save for very small mega spruce taiga parts, or mega taiga hills.

posted a message on Is this the hyper-rare Jungle Edge M?

I know, I realised my mistake. However, wiki is wrong, I have posted another thread on which there is a modified JE according to debug screen bordering a simple swamp!

posted a message on Colossal 1.15.2 seed- 2 MODIFIED JUNGLE EDGE within 10000 BLOCKS OF EACH OTHER

The seed is -8029928066082808481. The source is

The seed takes you to a jungle, and at coordinates 480 ~ -280 there is a modified jungle edge, the rarest biome in the game. IT is also not between a modified jungle and swamp hills, but is 100% the biome required.

Today I stumbled upon another modified jungle edge, on the edge of swamp hills, at coordinates -6032 89 -2352. And, unlike the first JEM, which I found with the help of a seed, this one was my own discovery. I am still sitting here in shock that I found it. It is listed as 'Extremely rare' in a biomes list, the only one to do so.

See the attached photographs for both of them. Whilst the second may not be large, it is good cliffs. And nearby I found an interesting 'crater lake'.

But the first is GIGANTIC. It comes in two parts separated by a thin jungle.

I recommend this seed, it is the best I have ever played on. And I had no idea 2 extremely rare biomes would be so close to each other!!

JEM1 is the jungle edge in the seed. JEM2 is the discovered one. For those interested, there is also a tall birch forest at 789 69 -5233

I recommend this seed to everyone, and massive credit to OMGcraft for providing the seed!

This seed is better for JEM than for mansions, the nearest one to spawn is more than 20000 blocks away!

I wasn't looking for it, either.

posted a message on Is this the hyper-rare Jungle Edge M?

I've been doing some biome hunting in my world. I've found stuff like ice spikes, sunflower plains, badlands, mushroom biomes starting from a snowy tundra seed. But recently I decided to give Jungle Edge M a try. Apparently it's a big deal. I have not seen a single seed for 1.15.2 anywhere on the internet related to this biome. But I think I might have found it.

Flying around, I noticed these weird looking cliffs. I saw they bordered with a birch forest. At the bottom of this cliff, it was jungle_edge. It was the same at the top. I've also heard when it is jungle edge M it still gives as jungle_edge. I am confident it is the hyper-rare biome. Can anyone confirm or debunk this? I've attached screenshots. This terrain is the most bizarre I've seen, these jungle edge mountains jutting into a birch forest, a jungle temple half-spawned in a river, to get to the treasure chamber of which you needed to leave all the levers off...

So, here it is. It was jungle_edge both at top and bottom. If anyone is interested, how do I record the seed of the world?

If this is it, I only need ot find mega taiga nand spruce taiga out of the rare ones. This is also relatively close to spawn- the ice spikes are much, much further.
