I managed to decompile the entire mod and compile my own version for 1.5.2. I'll look into updating it for the latest MC release at some point if Jade has completely dropped this. If you are still on Jade I'll pass the files to you if you are interested in continuing. Otherwise if you are still on but you don't want to continue the mod may I post the code on Github for others to have access? I rather we not lose a fantastic mod for future versions.

I finally got around to getting the files. Keep in mind they have not been updated or messed with since last time they were up. I am still going through the files to see what has Minecraft changed since it has been months since my last visit.

Some Redcraft stuff here. Meant to be used with default but if you want you can cut out the item textures this adds since some of them aren't in the other pack. You can mix and match though if you so choose.

    256x - Link

Some Balkon stuff here if that mod is still up.

Let me know if there is any issue with this.

I saw some people talk about my pack a few pages back. Anyone is allowed to share and reupload my work. They are allowed to use it in any form including for profit or non profit. I don't have any legal writing but just make sure it is not Uniblues work. I am a firm believer in the way of open source projects and their magic to allow projects to blossom in amazing ways. Hell, you don't even have to credit me but just don't go out of your way to say you made it.

As for Uniblue thank you for keeping this pack updated in your spare time even when you clearly have a busy life. Minecraft has a special place in my heart and your texture pack shares a lot of those memories.

Also if anyone wants the texture pack uploaded again just ask as I still have the files. If anyone is not sure what I am speaking of it's this stuff. It's old as hell so it may need some work and I don't know if it is of any use to anyone.

To use them make sure to have my resource pack above uniblues and make sure to match the resolution. Some files in my pack do replace some of uniblues work such as the paintings.

Does it work for 1.7.9? Everytime I try to activate this resource pack it just does nothing. It instantly deactivates. (I'm using 512x512 smooth realism)

Choose a lower resolution and see if that helps.

If you guys would release a beta to everyone, it would spread much more, I think.

There is in some form a beta of this. There's always the one for 1.0.0 in the links and I still have the alpha that was leaked which works with 1.6.2. There is also tall worlds mod which should be making good progress according to what I heard.

Hey General, you should go back to making incredible textures since we haven't heard from UniBlue is 4 months :P

If Uniblue doesn't post anything in the coming weeks I can try making some. Right now though I have been given some projects so I don't have much time for textures. If people need my previous patch to see if there is anything useful that can still be used don't be afraid to ask.

Oh, sorry if I have offended your crappy CRT (that's your machine on the picture, right?)

My monitor is five or six years old, it's not even a full hd as you can guess. But you know why I play on moody? Because I can see everything perfectly well!

How are you even post from that thing?

Besides, picture was meant to be dark, but hey! Naturally you know better then me.

I hope that is sarcasm there because if you think that is a computer anyone would do anything on especially minecraft you are more than just delusional. He wasn't even doing anything remotely evil unless you consider honest criticism some form of satanic power. Now if he would have said your screenshot sucks because you hate cute puppies then it's just mindless hate but what you did right now what completely unnecessary. I suggest you step away from your computer and wait four or five years to grow up then come back here and make a proper response but hey lets all be butthurt cause you know why not!

Well I just wanted to finally be able to share this with the community... I paid AtomicStryker for his time to update the Harken Scythe mod to a working version of 1.6.4. I have beta tested the 1.6.4 build of Harken Scythe on single player and my private server. So far I haven't had any major bugs or crashes with it after providing some extensive feedback to AtomicStryker. I greatly appreciate AtomicStryker working on this and do not mean to offend anyone with how I went about getting my favorite mod updated... I wish Jade the best and if Jade chooses to return maybe he and AtomicStryker can work together on this. Otherwise I do hope someone in the community does pick up this wonderful work and continue to help it grow... but for now enjoy 1.6.4. I do not say this is a perfect bug free version... it works for me and I am happy to share with the community. :)

You have no idea how much I love you right now! Thanks for the update.

You could also add more lava as a danger for going deeper just like in the nether only more common. If you want to take it a step further you could make mobs more dangerous and sinister looking the deeper you go but that's for another thread.

Well, right now diamond ore generates at levels levels Y=1 to Y=15. If you eliminate the bottom limit, then you have it generating from Y=15 to Y=(15-∞), which suddenly makes it exponentially easier to obtain... If it still stops at 1, then all of a sudden, removing that lower limit just makes things very boring below that old limit.

How does it make it easier to get?

Just one question. When worlds are converted, the "void" will be 30,000,000 blocks below bedrock level, where the player will hit a wall of solid air blocks. I know this will normally not be a problem, because there is no way to get to the void in vanilla survival, but if one was to fall into the void, it would be a very long fall. (perhaps the void could be entirely artificial as a property in level.dat; a y-coordinate where the player starts to take void damage.)

Any worlds with a void after using cubic chunks will still kill the player upon entering and will be at the same place I believe. Even then there is no legitimate way to get to the void so you are probably in creative if you do.

i mean when you come near the *hard limit* are you def?

What you mean is the 30,000,000 mark limit? That can not be solved without changing minecraft completely(Correct me if I am wrong here.) and it is not a problem. It is not possible to legitimately get this far without hacks or some sort of cheat. The lag you face there is not an issue either as stated before due to the fact you will never see it. Even so this does not mean the height should be limited if it doesn't have to just to make things easier. Also that fact that someone may be "def" as you so kindly put it does not make one unable to understand you.
