So, I found an old gas mask in one of the boxes in my basement. Don't ask how or when I got this, but if I can find a microphone I can try and record some sounds for the Masked!
NOTE: I HAVE HAD TO CANCEL THIS UNTIL LATE TUESDAY.
Speaking of mules, I had an idea for donkeys/mules.
Mules themselves are the product of a horse and a donkey
What if the donkeys are like...Some sort of hybrid between a horse and a stoneback? So they'd be donkey-ish but they'd have signature features of the Stonebacks.
And then mules would have like...cybernetic parts in them (And possibly horse-like eyes since there'll be at least one organic horse as established earlier in the thread)
Hi all, I have had Minecraft for a couple of weeks and it is a blast to play on. I recently had a sudden drop in FPS though. I usually run at about 125 fps during the game, but now every time I run the game it runs at 1fps. I created another world to test if this was a computer problem, and the new world ran perfectly fine. Here are my computer specs.

Minecraft forum name: geckorus10
Do you understand and agree to the rules?: Yes.
If you could be another character for a day - who would that be? (fictional characters included): 343 Guilty Spark
Why do you want join this server?: I've seen very few servers that have factions but rules against mindless PvP.
What do you like the most about minecraft?: The open-world aspect.
What can you contribute with?: Trap building, cartography, mining
Any earlier server experiences (optional)?: Not really
Another clan just attacked us, and griefed a lot of buildings that we've spent days making. We ask you to grief on their server as revenge ? will you do it?: Only if all involved factions agree that it is allowed. But even then I most likely wouldn't.
Smooth stone, cook cobble man. Silk touch isn't needed for that. Its more like, find coal or trees to make charcoal, put fuel and and cobble in furnace, SMOOTH STONE. Its not that hard.
I wasn't trying to say that Silk Touch was needed, I said "You need to spend one coal to make eight bricks, UNLESS you have an enchanting table, and even then it's still a random occurance for Silk Touch to pop up."
It's hard to reflect their bombs on a server. And my main point was, it took ten hours to find a fortress. The ghasts didn't take up that much time, but were still annoying.
Also, if you don't like a recipe, just don't complain about it and don't use it. So what if there's plenty of nether brick? It's hard to find, and some people want to preserve the beauty of the fortress. I don't see howadding a recipe would harm anyone.
First of all: Ten hours? I'm sure you've exaggerated a bit, or you were going along the X-axis. If it's the latter, they're rarer that way.
Second of all: The thing is, a recepie wouldn't hurt.
But just really quick, think of Stone bricks. Their recipe? Four SMOOTH stones for four bricks. You need to spend one coal to make eight bricks, unless you have an enchanting table, and even then it's still a random occurance for Silk Touch to pop up. You would need to kill monsters, with higher level enchantments demanding more enemies killed. And every time you hit an enemy, your sword loses a use, so you also need to keep swords and bows ready in case one breaks, and your bows can run out of arrows, which means you need to kill chickens that may or may not exist. Oh, and also, Silk touch doesn't guarantee that smooth stone drops from stone.
See how much goes into stone bricks? Sure, the recipe is simple, but the process for the material is a lot harder than just placing four blocks in the middle of a grid. If Nether bricks ever get a recipe, it will most likely have a similar process for the raw materials.
EDIT: Oh, and by the way, just because your mod has "found a challenging way to obtain every single "challenging" item except clay." doesn't mean that people will be falling head-over-heels to make all their mods compatible with it. Nor will the players with a preference for vanilla MC care about it (or any other mod, for that matter)
Cool map, man. I just have one little complaint, and it's how stuff looks. The meteorites and such are fine as is, but the sky is just...too blue. I think what would be a cool idea is to try and port the current map into one of the other dimensions (Nether's Red sky could be like a nebula, or the End's ominous starry void could truly emulate the spacy-space feel of the map)

Define roleplaying in your own words, "You're someone you're not, but who cares when there's so much to be done?"
do you have any past roleplaying experiences? Yes, and a lot were sci-fi or medieval.
What is your reason for applying to this server? A lot of times I get tired of being in a happy little world full of happy little people, I would like to have a change to that.
Have you been banned before, if so why? Once, I dissed someone who had been randomly PvPing and was banned because he was a donor.
Do you agree with our rules? If I did not, I would not post this.
Will you use the server's official texture pack? Why, of course!
In Character
Character name: Vergil
What is your character's race?: Human
Your character's story so far: So far, Vergil has been nobody special. He roams around the wastes, scavenges for supplies, and if he has the time he watches the more intelligent races build things. He does this in hopes of eventually learning how to build such complex machinery. And to be honest, he's gotten by with sheer luck. For example, he was starving and found a carcass, he was bleeding out and found a bandage, and even he knows this luck won't last.
Does or did your character have any companions or family? Negatory
How old is your character? Mid-20s or so.
Describe what your character looks like, any distinctive physical features? He wears a black
coat with a backpack and a gallon jug for his water. He has a gas mask of unknown make and model that he never takes off.
How does your character act? He is very paranoid of others until they prove they won't attack. He also gets unnaturally attached to objects that hold a feeling of worth. "My Lucky Battery" is one.
Character's occupation: Grunt work, odd jobs.
Does your character have an education? (Read or write) He can read, but he writes sloppily, and because of that he uses an old label maker he bought if he needs to write.
Any special skills that your character has, nothing unbalanced: If a door's locked, he can assemble a key out of some discarded stone and a stick.
Does your character hate or fear anything? He hates fuelbots, and isn't too fond of gravel falling in front of him.
Describe an example of your character in great suffering and pain (RP): Being caught in a fuelbot explosion or being shot by a raider. Either or.
Yes, and framerate lag is one of the things you can fix. However, I will note that you can only fix client-side lag. Server-side lag, such as that caused by the detonation of large masses of tnt, can only be fixed by the server owners. Also, if your equipment is worse than your enemy, your going to lose. It's like bringing a knife to a gun fight.
I will counteract that simile with another simile: It's okay if you bring a knife to a gun fight, if you know how to stab.
Hello skinners, I'm writing this to request a special-made skin for my character.
I recently watched a steampunk-ish movie, and found the design of the first soldiers to be very cool. I would like a skin of them.
Oh, here's a reference for the skin
Thanks in advance,
~Geckorus
I absolutely love Mushroom Biomes, and feel they don't get as many mobs as they should.
Now, I like to think of mushroom biomes as a sort of infection (Oh no you have released a killer fungus among us!), an assumption I made when I saw mooshrooms were just normal cows with mushrooms covering them. With this in mind I thought "Hey, why not infect a few other animals?". I wrote down these suggestions:
Truffles: Pigs covered with brown mushrooms, they drop brown mushrooms if sheared (like mooshrooms and red mushrooms), 1-3 pork when killed. They also have a chance of dropping a special mushroom that can be eaten to relieve 3 hunger, with a chance of food poisoning.
Moldies: Creepers:Grass Moldies:Mycelium. A creeper with purple, stringy skin. Moldies have a less potent explosion, but when it DOES explode it releases mycelium, which then infects grass for 1 ingame day.
Spores: About the size of a small slime, spores have a chance of popping out of mushroom blocks, at which point they will immediately target the player, hit them once, then die. When they die they poison you for a few seconds.
The Roots: A mini-boss battle, The Roots are...well, the roots of the mushrooms! They all converge into a small [human]heart-like shape, which will call Moldies and Spores out to try and stop you from killing it. When it does die it's juice can be harvested to coat weapons and armor in, which will make them able to [SLOWLY] regenerate to a certain point.

May I present to you: The Shoddy Scrap Steed! (SSS if you will)

It might just be the chunks generating, I usually get giant FPS drops at the beginning of games because of it.
