you can always try out for a build. however server is down for a bit. im about 2 plugins away from having the server back up and also switched the forum to a new host. its always permissions giving me problems.
server is about 75% working now. working off the ip only for now in the middle of changing the hosting for that and the website. server is up for testing on the sample world
im still around theirs just nothing to do. bukkit has not updated to a build that works yet. there plugins page for the past 4 days has said temp unavailable so i cant start to update plugins. so i have a temp vanilla server up for now but there is people on it at through out the day i just havent been on much since the new version. i suspect that the 1.0.0 would take a while. i tried the 1550 build today but its still dies after 30 min of running. plus 75% of our plugins are dead still. hoping the plugin devs fix it soon
Garbage hasn't taken the server from you. You haven't been active at all except for your 10 paragraph forum posts :tongue.gif: and everything is running smoothly and we are thinking about making the server hardcore RP and have city based factions. Also there is a beautiful city that is ready to be opened within the next week or so. There's also another city that is like 40% done and that looks sexy also. Plus I am making a big RP quest that involves a small city, crash site, a big technological city, big maze of monster / traps infested tunnels, and many other things.
Garbage is doing a great job of running the server (except he keeps forgetting to add readable books plugin and he refuses to get voxelsniper.)
HA beat ya. i added the books about 8 hours before you posted! also added spout server side. so now everyone who uses spout can connect to us with it. also added a casino plugin and working on a sound plugin to convert all the minecraft sounds. with spout you can go into the options and remove the fog at the bottom of the map so the new city can open. also if the texture pack gets finished i can force the pack for all spout users. also added a ticket system so now all in game users can submit requests using the /modreq command.
Secretagentguy as far as ignoring your i have never done that if you look in the history of this thred i always responded to you. as far as you not being part of the server your right.

I plan on making a more organized, compiled lore section later this year, put together out of all the UnderEarth lore files I've saved on my computer! (AKA, a huge ****-ton of writing) This will give plenty of backstory and intrigue for players looking for a little explanation of what UnderEarth is.

everyone is annoyed by you bitching about how the server is not how you want it. yet you dedicate 0 time to the server so what where you expecting to happen?
i know i said i was not going to post on here anymore but had to jump in for a sec.
the admins sometimes relay to me what is said here but everything server related should be posted on the official forum like ive said 1000 times before.
SecretAgentGuy; I hate to admit it, but your time is up. You no longer possess the skills or abilities to stay leader of UnderEarth for much longer. By lack of skills and abilities; I mean the skill and ability to stay active on the server. You are barely ever on; you have absolutely no effect on what happens on the server whatsoever overall. It's as if you only want to be leader of UnderEarth for the title and glory.
We aren't your slaves to do all the work for you; just sitting on your 'throne' casting commands. You do literally nothing to help the server go forward. And even worse; your most recent forum posts are applications to other servers. Either forfeit all other projects and get back on the server or just leave. Stop complaining about 'not having any control over the server anymore' and it 'going the wrong direction'. If anyone's fault; its yours. To run a server; you have to be on the server. Which you aren't. Ever. And whenever someone calls you out on this you log in for a few minutes and just leave again. It's almost just insulting all our hard work.
I don't want you to reply to this. What you say doesn't matter at all. It's what you do that matters. And lately; you haven't done anything at all since the opening of the server. Being active doesn't mean a few minutes a week. It doesn't mean a half an hour on the weekend early in the morning. Activity means being on every single day to help and grow the server. As long as possible every day all week, as much as you can. And if what you're giving is all you can give; I don't think you're up to being the 'leader' of a server.
this is what i have been saying for a while now and secret you did not respond to the most important parts of this at all.

July 29, 2011, 04:42:44 AM was the last time you logged into the forum which is 49 days ago. as far as im concerned u have not been part of under-earth since then. if you have you would see all the different sections of the forum stating who the builders are and what they were working on.
as far as this forum goes im done posting here. this forum should have been used to recruit people to the server. not for a ***** fest. or to listen how great things where or how the server is not what you want or how you want it. also your post to DevinXIII earlier today about ask to apply for the white-list shows how out of touch with the server you are. the white list has not been on in about 2 months. the server has been on a grey list.
also since its my last post in this thread.
under-earth now has 2 city's open sand stock and gnac. there is a heavy rp city going to be open soon. also an event rp city open soon as 1.8 is applied to the server. there is another city that's in the planning stages as well. as far as the economy issues we are now looking for traders and the rich class is now finished and will be implemented in 1.8.
as far as 1.8 progress the server is still not ready to migrate. im waiting on an official bukkit release to start converting everything over. eta is about 1 week.
Again, I apologize for my shortcomings as a leader and UnderEarth team member, but in my defense I've been under incredible stress recently and I've been frustrated by feeling left out and not so much a part of UnderEarth because so little information goes through to me before things are implemented. Though, I suppose you're right; perhaps if I went to see how things are going more often, maybe my team would respect me more and I'd finally be on the right path again...

honestly i dont know why you even need access to the forum and website. your last logon was almost 2 months ago.
its obvious you like the server in theory however your not willing to do the work. it seams you just want the credit for it. maybe if you starting actually helping out again the general opinion of you would change.
1.8 is out! however the server is not 1.8 so if you want to get on your going to have to ether wait till the server is 1.8 ready or keep a copy of your 1.7.3 to switch back to.

so by 7 admins and 9 players you mean the 7 admins 1 mod and 74 players who loged in with in the past 24 hours. or are we talking the 254 players how have logged in the past 5 days?

Yes, in detail actually. Unless you mean the official UnderEarth forums, in which case no, I admittedly do not read much that goes on there at all. I apologize if it seems like I neglect my duties as UnderEarth's founder, but honestly I'm just so frustrated that no one is telling me what is going on. The server has, quite literally, been completely out of my control for the past month or more. I have no leverage, and no one has been telling me what has been going on. I guess you could say I'm angry, but I don't want to start another dramatic fight; I just want UnderEarth to one day be how I envisioned it, and I want my team to be a group of passionate, intelligent friends that listen to and respect each other just like in the beginning.
if you read the forums in detain then you would have seen the 4 posts made regarding your request.
as for underearth being out of your control. you have logged into the forum 1 time 47 day ago. so asking to be an admin on the forums dosent make much sense since you have only been on it once almost 2 months ago.

Garbge9x3, please do not be mad at MD_Bay. He's been under a lot of stress lately and thus he has been quote "Acting up". Another thing; you still haven't answered me about my wanting to have permissions to edit the UE website and forums.
Please do not just ignore important things. If you're too tired to respond to such things, don't just brush them off and hope everybody forgets about them. If you need a day or two to respond to something, thats fine. Just do it eventually, alright?

I've discussed with 13asic what he and Tracy did to mafia HQ. not only am I annoyed that they did it without asking us, therefore causing us to lose many valuable goods that we worked hard to get, but we had no time to prepare. I mean apparently this has been planned, but no Mafia where involved, at least not to my knowledge. Admins may guide server RP, but us little people matter too.
I am honestly wondering what the point of doing things on this server is when your work (4 hours I spent on redstone) is ruined in an instant and lost.
it sucks that it happened but honestly the whole mafia guard thing is not working so great. the mafia have a ton of secret areas and prob almost 3/4 the population of the server. which makes the guard underpowered. the second problem i have is that most of this takes place in the slums and it seems that our new player get caught in this. ive had 3 personal msg's from new members asking if they can get the mafia to leave them alone. being new on a server is frustrating. there is different rules and commands for them to learn. now add on that 1/2 the server is trying to kill them just makes people quit.
if the mafia and the guard are going to survive i would like to see a player cap on who is in the mafia.
also a structure on mafia rules and how the mafia works.
this is the same thing for the guard.
i put an admin in charge of each faction so you guys need to get with admin of your faction and discuss what you can and cant do as your faction.
what i need
faction rules
faction size
faction hierarchy. highest to lowest.
faction event times. (ig theres going to be a war between the guard and mafia we need to set up a time when the most possible members can be on.
if people are new to the server your job in both factions is to get them involved or not.
(example) player joins the server there is an event about to happen and there in the area. send them a pm and let them know that something is going to happen and if they stay in the area they will be considered involved. then if there not interested in playing in the even recommend they head out of the area for 20 min or so. recommend the player mine or the jump puzzle in the player housing.
