If I remember right you just place a lava source and water source down on the same Y level but spaced one block apart from each other. As soon as the two liquids make contact they create cobble for you to mine. I would advise putting these two sources in a little trench and maybe even use a hopper system if you have the spare sources.

/gamerule maxEntityCramming, and then set a number after it, 0=no damage, 1=damage if any mobs touch, 2=damage if 3 mobs touch, etc.
    E.X. /gamerule maxEntityCramming 0

    Thanks for the script.

Does the maxEntity damage mobs in creative as well? And if it does this gamerule should work in a creative world as well as a survival, correct?

posted a message on Banner designs on armour!

I agree that it wouldn't work.

You could alter your texture pack and design your own armor, or just change your skin up. Either way it's just to small for 16 bit. A 120~+ would make it possible to recognize some symbols but...it's still small AF.

In 1.11 there is a new max entity cramming rule where mobs take damage if they are stacked. Default is 24 mobs in the same space will start taking damage. http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Commands#gamerule

I have been trying to figure why in the hell my blaze farm was messing up...how do I fix this?! please tell me there is a way to get around this?!

posted a message on How can I make my world more enjoyable to be/work in?

I gata say, these are a lot of great ideas. I love the roads idea. I think I kind of built a quick path through the nether connecting two of my settlements. But I think building an actual pathway, like wagon trail style, connecting 2k blocks away would be cool. This has just made my head explode with ideas. This thread needs to be way longer.

I love a trophy room idea. The museum would be fun too. Building a farm and gathering farm ideas to build that farm...now that's what we all end up doing isn't it?!

My self and my wife have made a point to build a village by the gulf. It has tiny houses, a pier for ships, and we are trying to dedicate a shop for every grouping of items. Its still young in the works so I don't have any good shots but we built a few shops, a market place selling the same things at different prices (we use golden nuggets as money), and right now I'm currently working on a giant hotel "for the sailors that come in by ship". As a sailor I can tell you the first thing we look for is bars and hotels. So that really helps me come up with ideas. I've also built an entire ranch in the woods on the outskirts of our village. It has all of the farm foods and animals there. Its nice because they won't cause lag when we are in the main village. Maybe when it gets a little more complete we will post pictures.

o man. This is so simple.

I see this option every time I open the LAN game for me wife. And I never even thought about this. You are a true hero.

To top it off, however, could you point to a good location to learn more about command blocks?

I'm asking for a tall order here.

I would like to get my survival world and turn it into creative.

What I would like to do: add a few command blocks to do a few minor things. And then I could just switch gamemodes to play.

How I expect to do it: i'm going to assume there has to be a way to save your structures and transport them into a new world or something.

My world is in Survival as of right now. I don't know if there is even a way to do this, but it would be super great if someone, who did know, would walk me through this.

    thanks for yalls time.

posted a message on Sugar Can Farm Stopped Working

    Hello.

Since I updated my sugar can farm has not worked. I'll add a picture. But its pretty basic. It just detects the block update and sends a signal (connected to pistons) which harvests and sends to a collection. Has anyone else had this problem? Also my vertical melon farms also stopped working. I am assuming it is for the same reason.

So side note: I just right-clicked the hoppers on the melon farms and then its like they just reactivated. Whatever that means...it's fixed. You are welcome MC peeps. I saved the day.

It actually does look pretty cool to build there. I do want to see about where you end up going with this.

On my own world that me and the wife play on:

I decided to update to 1.11. I decided I wasn't gana make a copy of the world because I have never had a problem updating to full releases before.

When I started the world in 1.11, for some reason, all of the entity's in the surrounding chunks did not load properly. All of the signs, item frames, mobs, and chests just didn't load.

I logged on in my store room.

After panic and wild clicking I discovered that I could open the chests and they would reappear, however, empty. I have lost literally 15.4 days of playings items. I looked up the time counter.

This is a night mare. I am just glad my buildings are still there.

The window problem fixed it self. I must have been just a bad startup. However, I still don't have an explanation for the cursor disappearing when I go full screen. O well, can't be to mad.
