I've been looking for an old biome mod a lot recently, it's hard to find one for 1.19 lol. I think it would be really cool to have Alpha/Beta biomes mixed in with the current ones and I hope someone can figure it out at some point.
I will say that unfortunately, unless you're using Optifine/CTM's biome specific textures or having an entirely separate block, the bright grass wouldn't look exactly like it used to. Grass blocks use a light-gray texture alongside colormap/grass.png, so even if you got the same color of old grass for the mod's biome color, it would still appear darker.
The closest mod to get to that color was Old World Generation, but that hasn't been updated since 1.7.10.
Lower-case and Upper-case letters have different ASCII and Unicode values (the numeric value that represents the character) so PNG is not the same as png. Obviously they seem to have the code that determines the validity of the skin file to look for only the lower-case extension of png for the skin file. You should post this to the Mojang bug tracker for them to review.
K thanks! I sent a bug yesterday so hopefully nobody marks it as a duplicate!
I'm sure you're thinking about the fact that the skins don't work period. They come out black (Literally said this in the beginning of my post). That's not the problem and i know this is fixed.
After the newest build i am able to use skins and they won't appear black. However the game won't allow me to use certain skins, most of them i noticed are .PNG files as apposed to .png. If i use .png then it will work fine and if i use .PNG it will say "That's not a minecraft skin, silly." I don't know why it really matters if it's capitalized or not. If anyone else has this problem then please tell me. Hopefully this gets resolved in a future version.
I recently wanted to make minecraft mods, but seeing that i don't have any knowledge of Java coding, MCreator is my only option (the internet won't help me on this one).
I have tried multiple times to run MCreator but all of those times it failed. First it was stuck on "Setting up Forge MDK" for some time, the last "Current task" being "decompileMC ... ", then gave me an error message which you can find in the attachment below.
I don't know where the gradle log is so i just guessed and went to the text file located in C:\Users\(username)\Documents\MCreator\forge\.gradle . This was what it looked like:

I was having trouble trying to upload a gif file to my avatar. It comes out as just one image. I was wondering how you did it. And NO I DON'T CARE THAT THIS POST IS A COUPLE YEARS OLD IT WAS THE ONLY ONE I COULD FIND
