Dec 28, 2014Dear gosh, why is there so much hate on the forum page, jeez. Just stop, if you don't like the mod whether because it's a lot like orespawn (which is actually cool if anything) or if it's based from MLP (which why the heck do you care what it's based of?). Just don't download it if you don't like it.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

Mowzie's Mobs adds a variety of fictional creatures to Minecraft, priding itself in unique AI, environmental and atmospheric appropriateness, and standard-setting animations.
(FOHL-ee-ayth or fohl-I-ath)
These jungle-lurking plant monsters want nothing more than to eat anything that moves! They may seem like ordinary ferns, but they'll emerge if you come close. You can't get close enough to strike them, so find some other way of killing them! They drop foliaath seeds.
To grow a foliaath, obtain a seed and plant it by right clicking on grass or dirt. Every half-day for two days, feed the baby foliaath by tossing it a meat item. Then, it will emerge as a fully grown foliaath. Be careful: grown foliaaths aren't tamed and will still attack you!
Lost underground many years ago, these heavily armored knights are not men nor are they statues. Are they guarding something? They have forgotten what. Are they waiting for something? They have forgotten when. Are they mourning someone? They have forgotten whom. All they know is to slay those who approach their chambers. There is only one way to damage a Ferrous Wroughtnaut; its weakness is for you to discover.
Only the bravest of adventurers would dare to challenge a Ferrous Wroughtnaut. Upon defeat, the Wroughtnaut will drop its Wrought Helm and its Axe of a Thousand Metals for the victor. Right clicking with the axe attacks in a large arc, and shift-right clicking will create a shockwave that brings targets closer to you. Neither tool can break.
Native to the savanna, the Barakoa tribesmen travel in small hunting packs. They are one with the masks on their heads, which cannot be removed. Some use bones as clubs as weapons while others use poisoned blowdarts. Each hunting pack is led by a Barakoana elite, wielding a traditional spear and shield. The Barakoa make traversing the savanna quite dangerous, as they can surround their prey quickly and put up a good chase.
When defeated, the Barakoa will sometimes drop their masks as items that the player can wear. Each mask bestows a different, small buff.
Barakoa can also be found in villages scattered across the savanna plain.
Barako, the Sun Chief
Barako is the chief of the Barakoa tribe, residing in a stationary seat upon a throne in Barakoa villages. He draws his power from the sun, calling forth sunstrikes, solar flares, and massive solar beams. He can also create Barakoa followers from masks to defend him during combat. As such, his masked children revere him as a god. Unequipped travelers should keep their distance from his villages, lest they be smitten by his heliomancy.
Those strong enough to face and defeat him, however, are rewarded with his mask: the Sol Visage. This mask allows its wearers to breathe life into masks to create Barakoa followers. Unfortunately, the mask does not bestow heliomancy upon its bearer; this power is innately carried by Barako, and thus dies with him. Perhaps there is another way...?
Frostmaws are dangerous beasts found rarely in snowy areas. Their massive size, impressive speed, and powerful ice breath make them near-impossible opponents. If, on your travels, you encounter one sleeping in your path, it's likely best to take a different route and let it lay. The beast guards a precious ice crystal that can unleash pure winter energy when wielded.
These adorable crystal crustaceans live deep underground in caves and ravines. Sometimes called “living ore,” Grottols are prized as a rare source of diamonds. But only the quickest of adventurers can manage to catch them before they burrow away; grottols are very fast and surprisingly clever, even using minecarts to escape pursuers. Keep in mind that only iron or stronger pickaxes can penetrate their diamond shells.
Lanterns dot the canopy of roofed forests, glowing like jellyfish. Some cultures believe that these creatures contain the souls of the recently deceased. Others wish on them like stars. Adventurers, however, know that the luminous jelly inside lanterns is a great light snack that will briefly illuminate the darkest of nights.
Coastal cliffs are dangerous places. Adventurers tell of winged serpents called nagas with impressive speed and menacing acid venom. Though these drakes are powerful, a well-placed arrow can knock a naga right out of the sky; time your shots to hit when the naga is preparing an attack.
Naga acid is deadly, but can actually be used to neutralize other poisons. The fangs they drop upon death can be used to brew poison antidotes and preventatives.

Mobs:Strongholder - Floating gauntlet that grabs, pounds, and swats to attack. Floats eerily through stronghold tunnels, maybe passing through walls.
Phoben - Fear spirit that spawns in roofed forests. Wields fear magic, a lantern, and a long, darkness-infused blade called Ej. Fighting the phoben will involve carefully but quickly deciding when to strike and when to block.
The Sculptor - A simian guru that can be found meditating on mountaintops. He will challenge players to complete obstacle courses made of floating rocks. Those who pass this test are granted the ability to wield powerful earth magic.
Forest Dryad - Will grant players her magic pan flute in exchange for the Phoben's lantern as thanks for defending the forest.
Stalkers - Rival tribe of the Barakoa. Jungle pack hunters that lurk in the canopy before leaping down on their prey. Their simian features, ornamented headdresses, long claws, and glowing red eyes strike fear into their prey.
Nimbus Drakes - Flying serpents with clouds billowing from its head and wings. The clouds turn grey before the drake unleashes its lightning attacks. It circles an egg in a nest on the top of its mountain, which can be claimed and hatched by the player who defeats the mother.
The Winter Order - A league of cryomancers residing in a frozen citadel.
Large, scary insects in swamps, maybe large, scary frog-things to go with them
Anglerfish-like deep sea monster
Ents that can be created from trees using an item.
Golems that can be created from Geomancy boulders.
Snake Charmer - Humanoid desert boss that spawns in a temple structure. He can summon snake spirits by playing his flute, and can transform into a moving painting on the wall to dodge attacks and move across the room.
Just a plain dragon. I'd like to try my hand at this timeless monster concept.
I'd like to add at least one mob for each of Minecraft's environments, and I do like suggestions! BUT I'm very picky about what I work on. Only suggest your mob if you can imagine players thinking, "I can't believe I ever played Minecraft without this in my game!". I will not add monsters from existing franchises or mythologies, or just giant versions of real animals. No griefing or one-hit-kill moves.

Damn! Thanks man!
You wouldn't believe how much motivation I get whenever people care for my projects. (Honestly makes sense, being a teenager and all; lack of self-esteem <_<)
I'm very hesitant on telling anybody about.... 'Him' yet. Since he's taking most of my development time, I'd like to keep him secret until release. Just so you guys got a little taste of what 1.4 is going to be like.
Nov 9, 2016Posted in: Minecraft ModsHello there, I'm here to tell you than recently I started to update the mod to 1.10.2, but I have changed some things, I decided to take a different way in the development, I can say that I liked the result.
The Ether Two - Wings of the end
Change:- Removed Flying Pig (to stop Aether II problems)- Added a config file- Return of 1.5.2 magic staff's- Return of 1.4.7 juices- Added Angel Temple (this really works this time).- Angel Creeper now have a fuse time, but he doesn't die with the explosion (different of normal creeper, angel creeper spawns explosion by circles)- Added cutie bush (farm to take food or cutie juice)- New tree plant system, when you take down a tree the it doesn't drop sapling, you will take a tree seed.- Added item Tree Seed(this can be use to craft a Tree Essence, spawn a tree one time)- Removed Ores: Topaz, Eglantine, Sapphire & others.- Added Ores: Oberon & Clinon.- Added Ether Quartz (like an ore, but different)- Custom sky render (now everytime in the ether is like twilight with moon instead sun)- Terrain generation changed to GROUND (no more floating lands, to stop the Aether II problems)- Added bunny spawn on ether biome- Elf name changed to Nymph- Added cave generation- Now the main minable block is vannila stone.
... and many bug fixes, texture changes and removed items.
I will still changing many things until the release date, but basicly is it. (I wanna change the actual creatures to give life to the mod, no more ether cows, ether spiders or another failure mob, time will work in it).

Tons. I've been adding massive amounts of progression to this mod. Pretty much everything has been expanded upon. Take a look at the pre-release build when you have the chance.

Aug 28, 2016Posted in: Minecraft ModsMonsters Resurface In The Desert!
After 5000 years, a rare civilization of creatures have supposedly rose from the dead. Of unknown origin, these nocturnal predators travel in packs, feasting on whatever large animal they can sight out. Many are unsure if their appearance is a result of artificial means, or genetic mutation over the course of several decades.Whatever they are, they must be stopped. Villagers report scratch marks and cuts on the corpses of deceased wildlife, and even on the dead bodies of their own brethren. The victims seem to have most, if not all organs removed, indicating the creatures are cannibalistic. As a result, Villagers have left out slabs of meat far away from their villages. These are placed in baskets and pots, in hopes to neutralize or sedate the monsters.Be warned though, approaching one of these nests at night will end with the witness being either injured or carved out.
That's all for now, Thanks for reading.

Parzi's Star Wars Mod 1.3 Update
This update was a huge undertaking and we hope you all enjoy the hours and hours of hard work that went into it. Please download from our site (Link Here) and not from other people because it helps us keep our site running and keeps us developing.
**READ OUR NEW WIKI** (It is currently being updated for 1.3 and may not be fully accurate/complete yet. HOWEVER, all of the important stuff is there and it will be fully updated and accurate within the next few days.)
1.3 is drastically different from all previous versions and we HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend reading the new Wiki at the above link. if you ask a question here that is already answered on the Wiki, we will simply link you back to the relevant page. There are also a few VERY IMPORTANT tidbits about how things work now in 1.3 on **This Page**. *PLEASE READ THAT PAGE BECAUSE IT TALKS ABOUT LARGE STRUCTURE SPAWNING WAIT TIMES AMONG OTHER THINGS*.
We also will not be telling anyone the locations of hidden questline items and/or structures/NPCs/etc. until at least a month after release. But let symmetry be a good guide to where hidden things might be. Also know that most structures can be found in the East and West directions (this means major bases are usually East or West, smaller more unique structures are usually on a diagonal like Northeast or Southwest).
Many things work differently on Creative vs Survival, so again, PLEASE READ THE WIKI.
Since some of you will not take the time to read the wiki, here are some important points.
1. 1.3 is meant to be played on Peaceful, all of our hostile mobs still spawn and function as they should, and this way you don't have to deal with zombies, creepers, slimes, etc.
2. Loading dimensions will be slow for THE VERY FIRST TIME YOU LOAD THEM. This will only happen on large structure dimension such a Yavin 4 and/or Endor. You also get teleported to specific places based on your faction and this could cause load times to be longer than usual if it is your first time in the structure.
3. Your ship is the mechanism through which you switch dimensions, but once you switch dimensions you will be on the ground out of your ship, it will be nearby. You must travel ~60 blocks away and then come back in order for your ship to actually show up again. This is not something we can help, because it relies on the loading and unloading of chunks from Minecraft which we have no control over.
4. In Survival, using a ship to change dimensions, once you have used the Hyperdrive for that dimension, you never need another for that dimension. Your dimension data is stored to the Quest Log and that dimension will remain unlocked in the Hyperdrive GUI.
5. Ships no longer drop their spawn item, once you crash a ship, that's it for that ship. 5. You cannot enter any ship freely in Survival mode except for the T-16 Skyhopper, the AT-ST, and the Imperial Speeder Bikes. Ship usage is now tied to factions and you must progress through the faction in order to obtain access, at which point you must buy a "license" to actually use it. Once you have a license, that type of ship is forever usable by you with no limitations. Licenses are kept through faction changes.
6. Rarely, ships will not follow you to your dimension. We're sorry, until we create our own custom dimension switching system, there's nothing we can do (as said earlier talking about them not showing up immediately). If this happens, please just cheat one in using the Creative menu. We're sorry that's the only fix for the time being, but we do hope to change this in the future.
7. Lightsabers are not crafted in the traditional Minecraft crafting way. We have our own special system and different types of Lightsabers require different numbers of parts. Kyber Crsytals are also an ore.
8. In Survival, Lightsabers can only be obtained by progressing through the Jedi Questline.
9. The Sith Questline is only unlocked after the completion of the Jedi Questline
Questing requires a Quest Log which must be kept in your inventory at all times and must be crafted in order to change dimensions in Survival Mode. (It should stay in your inventory on death because of some trickas we pulled but let us know if it consistently doesn't and we'll take a look).
Also dimension changes (except for the Tatooine Hyperdrive and how to use it) are now accomplished with a ship in Survival mode, again, READ THE WIKI.
Here's a small list of new things:
1. Fully custom Lightsaber crafting system
2. Full Questing System with 4 separate Questlines
3. Tons of new structures (Great Temple, Hoth Echo Base, Sandcrawlers, Ilum Jedi Temple, Yoda's Hut, etc.)
4. Fully overhauled Merchant and Loot System
5. Many new ships (AT'ST's, Y-Wings, TIE Bombers and TIE Advanced, T-47's, T-16's, etc.)
6. Tons of new blocks
7. Lightsaber Throw Force Power
8. New Armors and NPC's
9. Lots of other changes, please read the wiki.
One last thing, we would like to recommend a few mods to you that will greatly improve your PSWM and Questing expeience.
1. Optifine (Great mod, helps slower computers do things a little better)
2. Journey Map (Invaluable tool which gives you a minimapof your world and lets you make and teleport to waypoints. This is absolutely needed for a good Questline experience because without it you will 100% get lost and not be able to find your way back to base. It also helps you see the area for a good amount of chunks around you, which makes the scouting missions much cleaner and easier. Again, we HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend the use of Journey Map if you will be Questing in PSWM)
Thanks for playing, please remember to download from our site (Link Here), and above all we hope you enjoy.
Please do not quote this post, it is very long.
Also a huge thank you to Wolfie for putting up with us and modeling such amazing things. We <3 you boi.
