    Can someone explain to me how I can get this mod to pick things like tree trunks up? I added a whole bunch of things to the "list" inside the game following the block ID codes but I can't seem to change what the tornado does and does not pick up. I even toyed with the true and false settings for the unspecified list modes.

    He has not updated his original post yet. There is weather edition 1, which is in the main post and one of his posts in this thread in the last few pages leads to his most recent "weather 2" a new barely functional beta for tornados.

    Amp up the storm intensity, amp up the deadly storm rate from like 30:1 to like 1:1 or whatever you like Also amp up the other storm related factors. I can't seem to get tornados anywhere unless I start with /weather2 storm create hail" and go from there.

    The tornados don't go away, and only sort of aim at me.

    So glad to see this thread alive.

    Here is the issues I am still having. Doesn't seem to matter what biom or other bioms are near by "weather 2 storm create F1" does not spawn anything. I can get -some- results when I crank everything up max. And then use "weather2 storm create hail" then I can get the mesocyclone, and then maybe a tornado.

    They don't seem to follow me very well if at all. As well the storms are not dissipating, they just hang around and clog stuff up.

    Any "create F1/2/3 etc should forcibly create a tornado near by aimed at the player.

    I just said I've set the amp crazy high I set it to 6 ­ing thousand and wasn't getting anything. I even repeatedly typed /weather2 storm create f1 to directly spawn tornados and got zilch. What the hell is wrong then?

    I played around again and got another tornado to naturally spawns but that was at amp 10, and oh by the way they spawn only on the very edge of my vision and go off away from me. Doesnt seem to matter where I hole up, the tornados avoid me.

    Gonna have to wait for the next updated beta before this will probably be playable.

    Dunno what changed but I had 1 tornado spawn 1 time in 1 world and never seen another. Tried cranking up the ampper up to crazy high levels, tried directly spawning F1's.

    I get nothing. Even reset the whole mod, still cant get any tornados just thunder and lightning and a little wind.

    It still seems quite buggy I cant get tornados to spawn and there is no way to directly amp up the tornado spawn rate, if you can add that in the config it would be awesome.

    I want waterspouts back they were the best. Beyond that, ways to play with the wind and hear it would be great. I don't hear the ambient wind noises anymore. Seems to quiet for minecraft.

    When I try to put this into my server it keeps killing the server. I tried delteing the v1 config file but that didn't fix anything.

    PSA to everyone who reads this thread. I've chatted with corosus a few times. From what I understand he will update the weather mod whenever 1.7.4's forge is 100% functional. I don't know if he'll add the hurricanes, or any anything else new and exciting. What I do know is he supposedly has plans to update the mod.

    I have no time frame because he is very vague and has to much on his plate because like many other modders, Corosus bit off more than he can chew. Now he has to deal with "whiny" fans who just want a fully functioning, as advertised mod.

    I am looking for someone who knows their way around mods, and can take a mod for the current 1.6.4 and "fix it" so all of the functions advertised in the mod, function as intended. It may be a bit of a project but I am willing to talk about payment for your work. Reply here if you are interested. I'm not looking for someone who's just getting started I'm looking for someone who would be capable of looking at a current mod, and understand what is there (with some time I am sure there is plenty to understand) and take the time to test and fix it.

    I'll hit corosus up on IRC and see if he has plans to update this mod or not. I would think so. He is aware of how broken and useless it currently is, and if he won't fix and update it I'll take his mod to someone else and give them an incentive to fix it for me.

    Hey man great mod but it needs some major changes.

    The level 1 2 and 3 tornado's are progressively more destructive. F4's and F5's are extensively LESS so. They do LESS damage, and pick up FEWER blocks than the previous levels of twister. You need to improve the modeling and suction power of the F4 and 5 so they dig deeper and rip up more types of blocks. It makes no sense I'm more scared of a F2 or 3 than of a F5.

    Also can you please include a read me file or give us a GUI in the world generation so we can figure out how to change the frequency of tornado's and how it determines their strength? So I can make a world where "tornados are checked for every 5 days and can spawn up to F5 tornados" or a world where it checks every 15 days and can only spawn up to F3's.

    I've been using your mod for about two weeks playing for a few hours almost every day.

    I have yet to ever, I repeat myself. EVER. See a naturally spawning tornado of any intensity. Or a waterspout. I think there is something wrong with that when I've been playing this much, all in survival.

    Every video I've seen every single person has had a bajillion harmless water spouts, I've yet to see any. Also the wind has never been gusty or strong enough to push me around, why is this?
