I was able to login to my account a couple days ago and download the 1.8.1 update, but then all of a sudden I couldn't login anymore. I thought maybe I forgot my password so I requested an e-mail to change it. I never got an e-mail, so I went and requested all the user names linked to my e-mail address and it says that my e-mail is not in the minecraft.net system. I thought at first my account was hacked and they changed the e-mail, but you can't change the e-mail linked to the account and I know the e-mail I put was the right one.
I had two accounts linked to that e-mail, mine, and my little brothers, I bought mine early on in the alpha and bought his during the gift code Christmas sale last year. Both accounts are gone and we are not able to login to either of them.
I'm not sure what to do at this point, I've searched my e-mail and credit card history to see if I can find proof of purchase but so far have come up empty handed. I'll continue to look, but what should I do if I don't find it, and what should I do if I do find it? Who do I contact to get this all sorted out? I'd like to play again and so would my brother.
Do you have an ATI Readon HD Card? Did you just update to the 11.1 drivers?
The 11.1 drivers were built to add support for 69xx cards. If you don't have a 6900 series card then I would downgrade drivers. If you do have a 6900 series card then you need to uninstall all ati software and install ONLY the 11.1 driver. The CCC will cause problems, you want only the driver.
I have a computer with a 6970 and another with a 5870. The 5870 and the 6970 had those exact same effects. I uninstalled ati software on both, installed only the drivers and the problem was fixed for the 6970. The 5870 still had the issue, I had to downgrade drivers and go back to what I was using before to remove the glitch.
Read these epic specs. $1,079. Loaded with USB 3, and SATA 3, has a 6 core processor at over 3 GHz, and a great graphics card with 1 GB of DDR5 graphics RAM. Also 1600 MHz DDR3. How's that for a PC. This was a customized machine from http://www.ibuypower.com/. This is where I for new PCs.

That CPU isn't worth it, get the 1055t hexacore and overclock it, you will get the same speeds, if not more then that and the 1055t overclocks nicley. I have mine running at 3.7 MHz and at stock it's 2.8, and I am using air, if you get that liquid cooling you could easily bring the 1055t up to 4.0 MHz+ and have it stable.
With the money you would save getting the 1055t vs the 1100t you would be able to spend more on a video card, upgrade that to a 5870. Oh, and the USB 3.0 will need drivers installed before they will work.
Although, I highly recommend buying the parts yourself and putting them together, you could shave off a good $100-$150 off the subtotal by building it yourself. Other then that, this machine would be good.
When i'm on SMP I will walk around and every 10-20 seconds the game will freeze for a few seconds then go back to normal, if I play for longer then 10 or so mins the entire game ends up freezing all together and I have to close it and restart minecraft.
I have re-downloaded minecraft without any mods, was using some fast render mod an I thought maybe that was it but it has the same issue when using vanilla minecraft.
It's not because my computer is slow, here are my specs:
maybe there was a cave near water with hovering sand blocks when the world generated. then the sand was hit by water and it fell, leaving the clay in a hovering position.
also, mushrooms drop when hit by light for a long enough time.
That makes sense. I also never knew that about mushrooms.
Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium
Intel Core i3-550
Intel GMA HD
1 TB HDD
8GB DDR3
Do you lag? Consistently enough at Far and Normal, Short and below it runs alot smoother. I dropped about 1,200 dollars on this computer in October, and it can't run MC smoothly? pfft.... xD
You...you...spent 1.200 dollars on a computer WITH AN INTEL GRPAHICS CARD!?
You, sir, have been scammed.
He could have gotten a Core i5, a readon hd 5870 for the same price as what he has...

After creating a save file that is 32 MB large, I have finally given up. Heres the cartograph:

Also, as I was walking around, there were blocks already broken and laying on the ground for me to pick up. Specifically mushrooms.

like 15 Kb/s in/out or what?
Does anyone know?
EDIT: Been reading around and I get people saying anywhere from 20-40 Kbps to 120-200 Kbps...

What if you have a HUGE area you want filled, adding it in block by block will take forever.
