EJ - simply awesome! What a great bunch of tweaks in the new version. You have added all of the features of this great mod in a way that makes so much sense and feels natural! I love it...
However, I am struggling with getting grass cutting to work with my guinea pigs. I would love to have them be able to slowly eat away at the grass. Is there anything else that I need to do besides decrease the metadata value of each block?
KodaichiZero - I love your mods and I like the backstory. I hopped on the Minecraft train at alpha 1.1.2 so I never knew about Rana and her banal existence until now. Thank you!
Exploding guineas...huh... I thought you wanted it to be kid friendly...but what the heck!;p
Did you make the exploding guineas throwable? It would be nice. Mummies that bury you sounds nice, when do you plan on making it? How about a mummy that shoots out its bandage like a fishing rod(or grappling hook) to real the player in. Thanks for the wonderful mod. I was wondering if you could make block monsters. Camouflaged as a normal block that moves when the player is near and attack.
Oh, I like that idea! Let's see what shape MCP is in after Notch lays to waste our hard work.
The stupid black guinea pigs blow up every minute that i'm playing. I'll just be walking around, building and exploring, then, *booom!* My house just got blown up. Do you have a version either a) without the black guinea pigs, or :cool.gif: a version that doesn't have evil terrorist guinea pigs?
(I'm also using Mo' Creatures which has bears and lions (and tigers! oh my) which attack the guinea pigs and kill them)
Thank you if you can do this!
Get the new version - those beautiful black guinea pigs do not blow up and the spawnrates have been fixed.
Run PORTABLE MINECRAFT. Then just dupe the folder and you can have two versions. For the updated one, use your login and for the older beta, just play offline. No sweat, no hassles and you never have to be stuck in %APPDATA% hell again.
Also, the mod that allows you to select if you want to update or not is VERY HANDY in case Notch releases one of his many unexpected bugfix updates. That should be part of vanilla minecraft!
this is just MY OPINION but shouldn't mummies be slow like they are in the movies? then have them do a lot of damage up close?
Then the black soul could be the fast moving lighter damage or what not.
oh and i forgot; pretty awesome stuff! good work man :biggrin.gif:
Maybe - I think I am going to make another variation of the mummy. One that is slow and powerful to go along with the current one.
Mod updated to version .6
- Spawn rates adjusted for Guinea Pigs, Rock Monster, Dirty Bum and Invisible Man
- Guinea Pigs make chime sound when they are full
- Guinea Pigs no longer explode. You can feed them seeds if you dare, but that feature is not fully implemented. Just fun to play around with for now.
On NEW MAPS, I walked around and saw tons of Mo Creatures and just a few pigs and rock monsters and one invisible man, so I think the spawn rates are reasonable. Please test and let me know what you guys think. The next update will be after the big MineCraft update, so I don't know how long that will be. You are advised to make a backup of your Minecraft.jar file or play offline until mods are converted to the new version. If lovely Notch had mod support this would be much easier.
hmm...
i will wait to donwload/install this mod and any other cuz of the close up, update! =)
Well, don't update if you want to play with your mods! At least backup your minecraft.jar file so that you can play with mods until they are converted to whatever notch has in store tomorrow.
Personally, I use portable minecraft, so that I can just dupe the folder and run each version discreetly. I still have a 1.2.6 install for kicks and one for multiplayer, and I never have to navigate to that hell hole called APPDATA! What kind of crap is that anyway? Just plain silly if you ask me. All minecraft data, saves and texture packs in one folder wherever you want it. Very flexible.

would it be possible to get this mod with just the enemy mobs, the guinnea pigs keep overloading my computer and i wana be able to play for more than 3 hours in a row
Thanks for the criticism - it is much appreciated! Thanks to 303, I have more control over spawnrates now, so you will see much less guinea pigs, invisible men, bums and so on in the next version. I tested this with mo creatures mod a dozen times on new maps and ran into many groups of horses, foxes, birds, lions, etc. Even vanilla minecraft animals. So, I think this new version will make a huge difference.
AND - I have a great solution to the exploding guinea pig situation. Who can give up exploding guinea pigs? Not me, but I also don't want random explosions wrecking everything. SO - if you feed any pig SEEDS, they will fire off like a rocket and explode! You can then aim them at your enemies and give the little buggers some seeds and ------- BOOM!
I will tone down the frequency of sounds, too, in the next version. Any more suggestions, please post!! THANKS
