as i said before the prolem might come since i am using 1.0.2 version of the minecraft beta since the server that my friend host is on it and he has that version cuz he has a non premium account and uses it to play SMP of minecraft and we decided to do MP but when we joined MP for the 1st time we got capes added to both our SMP and MP chars
Yes, this is the reason it won't load even though you deleted the META-INF file. I have backups of minecraft versions going back to v1.2.2. I will upload a file that is compatible with your version. Give me a few minutes.
Yea, with any class file I try to open with DJ java decompiler I get:
"File access error, or file not exists. Check all or try again
Possible reasons: File C:\blahblahblah\ei.class is corrupt"
Either extract the entire minecraft.jar to a folder and open ei.class from there, or open ei.class from inside minecraft.jar. Do not open ei.class in a folder that does not contain the rest of the .class files.
Or even just zip ei.class and open ei.class from inside the zip file.
Someone has already merged this and Handheld Torch, works fine for me
Thanks, but do you know whether this includes the latest version of handheld torch with the recent performance improvements. i think it's v1.3b
In case you are still on Alpha 1.2.6 yes the download contains version 1.3b of handheld torch. 1.3b came out shortly after i merged the two, but i updated it right away so only the first 8 people downloaded the 1.3 version.
Could be helpful ? were you not following that after Telgar gave you the link ?.
Anyway if you getting 100 errors your class path is probably not correct. In DJ Java click on tools > compile and in the class path section click the last button on the right ( select multiple class paths ). Browse to where your minecraft.jar is and add minecraft.jar, lwjgl_util.jar, lwjgl.jar, jinput.jar. Now it should compile if you have done everything correctly.

Because it is outdated, i saved Runedog48 some work :wink.gif: and up dated for version Beta 1.1_02 here. http://www.mediafire.com/?ar42blz993nc3jb
Reminder always delete the Meta-Inf.

The author of extended reach merged it already.
Correction: not merged it's a separate file.
