Exactly how does this get you Suspended
I Have used it many times and have never been suspended and our school computers
    are even monitored
You just gotta know when to use it and when not to
Yeah..... They know you are running programs on the school PCs. They likely just haven't brought it up with you yet.

As someone who works in the field STOP SCREWING WITH PROPERTY THAT IS NOT YOURS. YOU ARE IN SCHOOL, LEARN, YOU ARE NOT THERE TO MESS AROUND AND POTENTIALLY DAMAGE THINGS THAT DO NOT BELONG TO YOU.

Like who the FM you seem to worship, the fact you and other rely on people like FM to form opinions on things for you shows exactly why this section went down hill.

Do you think we are wrong if so why?

But forming our own opinions is haaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrdddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"like dude, Microsoft is dropping support for XP, they are totally forcing us to upgrade, we aren't going to stand for it, I'm switching to Ubuntu, because for some reason needing to perform a clean install of the new version every 6 months is preferable to upgrading a 13-year old OS. "

"Yeah! Let's stick it where it hurts and then say they asked for it By the way they dress!"

    "Yea... wait what?"
"Think about it bro, We're gonna stick it to the 'man' and make M$ bleed. Didn't you hear? Games getting linux support, steamOS and windows XP dying is going to be a deathblow to M$! FREE AS IN FREEDOM!"

"Oh yeah totally, bro. Now lets kiss."

Alright, alright, I'll post my picture if you stop throwing Pokéballs at me! :c

Prepare for a picture of the most unsexy 14-year old you have seen and will ever see.

You seriously look like a businessman in their late 20s who mainly deals in stocks and real estate.

That's a weird way of saying "you look like someone I would ask for a loan in an office building".

posted a message on Is there anything I can do to reduce the noise from my keyboard?
You bought a mechanical keyboard....... The entire point of them is to be loud so you hear the keypresses and can touch-type more efficiently.

Why buy a mechanical keyboard if you are going to null one of the main points of having one? Why not just get a rubber dome keyboard if you want silence?

The suggestion that Nvidia or any other company should play nicely with Open Source is based on nothing more than a feeling of entitlement.

    Quote from RedRock1998

Well my point is ... Minecraft is a java game and therefore heaily use a CPU more that a GPU?
Nope. I don't know where people get this "java is bloated" mindset from, it hasn't been true since most people on this forum have been alive (give or take 15 years).

I also see these youtube videos saying how important RAM is even though its all much the same

Because they are misinformed and do not know any better.

It does not "depend" on things "most".

It splits the load evenly, like all games do.

Don't spend more than $9.30 per GB on RAM.
Don't spend more than $180 on a CPU, unless you know for sure you need the power, in which case don't spend more than $230.
Don't spend more than $170-200 on a GPU, unless you know you need the power, in which case don't spend more than $250 on a GPU. Past that you hit diminishing returns very, very quickly. (Actually I might even lower that to $220).
Don't spend LESS than $12 per 100w for the PSU unless it is a deal or on sale.

Though these guidelines are arbitrary, you dont look at "what minecraft needs" you look at "what do I need and what am I using this computer for".

So many people build $900-1,400 rigs when all they needed was something in the $400 range.
