Um..
It tells me that the only thing I do is download this and i'm good to go. But I did so, and the only thing its been doing for 30mins now is downloading a list of apps... now when I open it, it says no game installs were found, and it won't let me install minecraft....
I think being more specific on what to do, rather than saying download the client would help out more.

All public servers are for the community and paid for by the community, theres nothing wrong with that.
I find it ridiculous that you think if someone doesn't spend their own money on the server, then he shouldn't run it at all then. Some servers can pay as much as $400 per month* and I don't think ANYONE would want to pay that much out of their own money.
* Most large servers (100 players+) are around this budget per month, for the dedicated server, ddos protection, advertising, website/forums, and if you had a custom server you could possibly be paying developers. Not only that but servers are VERY time consuming maintaining and hosting it all.
Man, that server. I will never understand how its one of the most popular servers out there. Its ran as if it were a company, blasting donate now messages at me every second, and people that bought admin ranks banning people for no reason. Thats why some people are so against donating is because of servers like that.
Yeah the term "donating" on minecraft servers is not really correct. But how else can you say it, I know most server owners know that donating is giving money and not expecting anything in return, but really no one will just give money for the hell of it without receiving something. And its the only way to keep em afloat.

I also don't understand how a lot of people voted for liking donations, and have donating before, but don't like servers selling in-game items. I can't name one popular server out there that does not sell in-game items. o.O

I am using centos.
Directory of the script is /root/server/autobackup.sh
I don't think it's the script itself cause nothing shows or happens.
Here it is anyways:
http://pastebin.com/34buBt6Q
I noticed I can't do 'screen -r minecraft', even though I made the screen 'minecraft'
this is what it shows when I do screen -r minecraft, is it suppose to be like that?
Cron
It shows when I do crontab -l
Any help?

Also is the 128GB Samsung 830 SSD any good for an SSD?
What exactly does a RAID 1 Disk Controller mean?
And would a Intel Xeon E3-1270 from www.limestonenetworks.com (customized to 16GBs of RAM/500GB SATA) be better than a Intel Xeon E3-1245 from Hetzner http://www.hetzner.de/en/hosting/produkte_rootserver/ex6
or a I7-2600 from Hetzner http://www.hetzner.de/en/hosting/produkte_rootserver/ex4s ?
Even though going with limestonenetworks, the costs could be 50-100$ more, is it worth it to just not go with Hetzner?

Ok but isn't a E3-1370v2 better?
I know sandybridge's are the way to go but v2's are Ivy bridges, are they better?

Thanks again.

What would a 1 Gbit-Port do for a server?
What is the absolute best CPU you can get for a minecraft server?
What does a RAID 1 DISK Controller mean?
Is a 128GB Samsung 830 SSD any good for an SSD?
And why do some say not to go with budget hosters aka Hetzner/OVH/Kimsufi for large servers, what are their problems?
Thanks to anyone that replies!
If you only know an answer to just one question, I would still greatly appreciate it if you replied. =)
