there is one thing buggeng me, i.e. the needless introduction of special cases (tex_extra) when general case systax would suffice. i filed a bug for pymclevel: https://github.com/codewarrior0/pymclevel/issues/59
i’m positive that you both (mcedit and minecraft xray) should use the exactly same yaml format, and if this means that you keep the current one and ignore this bug, that’s fine. compatibility » consistency in this case
there isn’t the usual nether→overworld ratio of 1:8, right? so if portals still work, they will move you ~128 blocks vertically and increasingly more blocks horizontally the more distance between you and 0,0 is?
does the spawning and the fog/lighteffects work as usual (except the void fog, obviously)?
will the the end replace the sky dimension be in 1.9(preX)? if so, will you put it under the nether and apply the void fog effect to the bottom of the nether? :3
