I never criticized the army. Their sacrifice is far greater. But the moderators here sink time into addressing complaints and adhering to the rules. They don't have to do that. They could just enjoy the forum like the rest of us. Instead, they put in extra time to ensure the forum they enjoy is top notch. That is a sacrifice of their time, even if not the biggest, and they should never be considered "lazy."

What an unbelievably stupid and greedy thing to do, criticizing a site run by volunteers, who have sacrificed so much time and even funds to this community.

It’s not a matter of use, it is a matter of theme.

This is my concern with bone tools. Why do we need them? Will they become the chainmail of tools (an intermediate tier that is rarer than the one it is supposed to prepare you for)?
1
Good job. You clearly care about this and it shows. My one piece of advice would be to cut down on some of the content and streamline it for the average minecraft player.

“There’s a mod” is not a worthy critique. By your logic, Mojang shouldn’t add foxes because mo’ creatures already has foxes.
In in response to the suggestion, I like it. While it may be controversial, a radical update to terrain gen would help the game plenty. Right now exploring isn’t very fun- but seeing those pictures by themselves is. Imagine what a random terrain generator like that would do. I don’t know if it is feasible, but if I still want it in the game. Support.

No animal is ever aggressive. This is a fundamental rule. If a feature is at any point “unwanted”- so that a player desires a certain animal out of their base- it will be seen by the player base as an threat. Some people- especially children- will see threats as “bad” irl.
When playing Minecraft, when I hear a hiss I start looking for the spider. I would rather it be out of my way now than jump scare me later. This applies to any threat: Minecraft unconsciously encourages us to actively hunt things we deem dangerous.
The problem is when you go from Minecraft to real life. Calling all foxes “evil” and encouraging the player to kill all the foxes they see is wrong. Some are dangerous. But others are not. We should be leaving wild foxes alone, not being told to kill them.
This is is why mojang did not add hostile sharks. People would start killing them and the JAWS fiasco would start all over again.
Notice how ZERO hostile mobs are real. The closest they get are giant bugs. There’s a reason for that.

There are a lot of better, original dimension suggestions out there. The Sky Dimension is uninspired and frankly lame. Would much prefer they expand upon the Nether and End.

Or the stair carpet could just act like a regular carpet, and on the blocks above the stair.

We should have an advancement tree for ocean progression, like so:
The two trident advancements could be placed here as well.

Banned for posting.

This is needed ASAP. But I think it should just be two slabs next to each other. Move chisel recipes to stonecutter and have this fix slabs (and stairs if possible).

Mojang has stated they regret adding these as the harm the block look. It’s a good thing this only effects the y coordinate.
Sideways stairs will change the x and z variables, further muddling the look imho.

This would open up a lot of concerns with Minecraft's blocky look. It would instead feel more like mini blocks.

1. Wow. This has never been suggested before.
2. I agree, seasons are a lot of fun.
3. But like so many have
notsaid before,4. Seasons would be very hard to run on average computers.
5. And at the end of the day, is it worth it?
6. We already have a snow biome.
7. And regular biomes work as spring and summer.
8. I would instead argue we simply need an Autumnal Forest biome.
9. Wouldn't winter only become annoying to the player?
10. It might become griefy on the game's side,
11. Because if you create a winter cottage it'd only be used during 1/4 the game.
12. Now as for this suggestion how long would each one last?
13. I think just maybe, if you planned your post out a bit, you might be able to overcome these issues.
14. Also please search before posting, 16 others immediately popped up.
15. So seasons have been suggested for a very long time, and are still not added. Why?
16. They. just. don't. work.
I challenge you to click on each link and read them all. Then, tell me how your idea is different and why I should support it when I chose to not support all the others. Why do you believe seasons should be added to the game?

Overall I think both need plenty more detail. I find list are great for yourself to get everything down, but when it comes to explaining things to other people using paragraphs is best. But what's to learn from reading? I'll prove it to you!
My Suggestions
-Neutral opinion
-Explain everything I was confused about.
-Expand upon everything, even the smaller things.
-Add some formatting to make it look nicer.
-You will find people are more open when they see a good presentation.
-Like right now you are probably disagreeing because of the bad presentation.
-You don't need a model although it would be helpful.
-I like to use pictures from google, low time consuming yet gets the point across.
-Drop the eagle mob, and focus on the hawk which has a more interesting skill set.
-Expand upon hawk ability, like how far is it to see.
-Most importantly, explain why this should be added to the game.
-Create world peace with the mythical hawk eye drop from the mythical lizard mob.

Tell me, why should we add this dimension to the game? What prevents Mojang from adding this to say, the ocean floor? Do you think another dimension is necessary?
Thanks,
