I'm trying to use Spawner GUI for Beta 1.3_01 (Spawner GUI is an old mod that allows you to choose what mob spawns in a monster spawner), but whenever I try to open up the GUI, my game will freeze, and then crash and close the game (I think the launcher I'm using here is causing it to close).
I'm using SinglePlayerCommands, and TooManyItems, and I have Modloader installed, so what is the issue here?
Well, thanks to your help, I was able to create it so that whenever it needs to updates the time, it actually will just set it to 18000 (which is night). Now the only issues I've seen is that water and lava update very, very slowly, but considering what I need to do, that won't be much of an issue
So I want to make a mod which will lock the time and stop it from progressing (I specifically want to keep it at night). However, I'm not exactly sure how I would do this, since I don't really know Java. I added Modloader just in case and I also need to have it compatible with Modloader because I have some other mods I'll be using. So, umm, if anyone knows how to accomplish this, let me know
I play a lot of old versions. Mostly for maps, maybe some mods, you know, I just play. So obviously after some time, I was wondering "How can I get my skins in these versions?" Well, I found the solution (for the most part), the Betacraft proxy for Minecraft Alpha and Beta, and the Lumy Skin Patch for release 1.2.5-1.7
Now look and you will see that I haven't found the skin fix for 1.0, 1.1, and the older 1.2 updates....kinda. You see, the Betacraft proxy does work for these versions, but it modifies the sound files as well. I try to get the most authentic experience possible for that version, and well, using older sounds of the game for a newer version doesn't exactly work out. So anyone know about anything for this? (I have no problem with modding the game by the way)
I basically need a skin fix for 1.0, 1.1, 1.2.2, 1.2.3, and 1.2.4. (Sorry if that's too much)
Edit: Now I THINK I have a solution, but I'm not sure entirely if it works because I'm not on my PC right now, and I can't see if it works. Will update if it works, just can't test it out yet.
Yes, I understand I can make a custom texture pack/resource pack, but that isn't exactly ideal in certain situations where a map may use a custom pack, and I have to merge the two together for that reason. I know it isn't that hard to do something like that, but still.

Well, AFAIK, it's because of the jar files directory changing since Beta 1.7.3, so it causes this crash. But MultiMC always has had issues running for me, and it has something to do with my Intel Graphics most likely, so ye.
I'm trying to play the Aether mod for Beta 1.7.3, however, when I click play, I get a crash stating "URL is not hierarchical". Does anyone know how to fix it?
I get this problem only with the official launcher, I used another launcher most of the time, however I stopped using that launcher due to the game being unplayable unless I turn the settings down as if I'm playing on a computer from 1998. Please help!
I don't really know much to explain here, but basically I want to play the Aether mod for Beta 1.7.3 with Single Player Commands, however, I am unable to get to the download. The only download I've found was an ancient Dropbox link, but obviously that's broken.
If anyone has a download link, or has it backed up, please link it so me, and maybe other people could use it.
I did not add the quotes. I put it before the memory allocation part, and it opens, but then closes after a few seconds. And when it does open (which is like 1/10 times), world rendering is something out of my nightmares (I closed the game before I could make the screenshot to show you).
I would use MultiMC to play, but it, and many other 3rd-party launchers like GDLauncher and the Technic Launcher, have issues with my graphics drivers (which are all up-to-date), which causes modern versions to be unable to load up worlds, and older versions just flat-out refusing to get up and running.
I have an Intel HD 4000, by the way.
Edit: I'll actually just use the official launcher for now, I found fixes for things like modding like this post you mentioned in another thread, and also the Betacraft proxy.

Guys, I fixed it! Turns out I wasn't using the correct version of Modloader

I made a video showing my issue here (and the freeze is not because of OBS, i see that on my end as well whenever i right-click the spawner)

No, there is only "bin", "mods", "resources", "saves", and "texturepacks", along with options.txt and a couple other things.
(and yes, I have checked through all the folders, there is no log whatsoever. I think the launcher I'm using is not showing me my crash report)

It doesn't give out a crash report at all. Even where it should, the game immediately exits without even a frame of it showing (Old versions of Minecraft tended to show the crash report like this: https://media.minecraftforum.net/attachments/261/567/636369310744993184.png)

Thanks! I was able to find the PlayerAPI and SPC patch in the Beta 1.7.3 Archive.
Also I would use MultiMC, but all third-party launchers have this issue with my drivers, I'm assuming, or my GPU directly, which is an Intel HD 4000.

This isn't the first map. It is actually the third or fourth map (still a great accomplishment)
But this map is the actual first (that I know of): https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding-java-edition/minecraft-mods/mods-discussion/1339376-rosettas-water-climb
