    Name: Raline Bowen

    Class: Ship captain

Weapon of choice: Rapier or naval dirk.

Biography: Raline was born by two parents, having six other siblings; four who are male, and two who are female. He was the third oldest of them all. They were in the middle class, not rich nor poor, and lived in a tavern ran by their own family, and were part of a small community which seemingly had the lack of human civilization.

Life was tiring for the Bowen family. One of his older brother's left for higher quality education, and his older sister married with another man and moved someplace else. The absence of their family members required them to do even more work around the tavern.

Raline himself was not originally a person of the sea. When he was younger, he'll usually join with his father on wagon trips to the coastal cities nearby to trade for goods needed at the tavern, from whiskey to pork. He wasn't exactly interested in the "nautical" life, as he found it boring and even more gruesome than the work at home.

Finally, he also began to lose interest with his life, his world only being limited to the "prison house", better known as the tavern itself. At age 16, Raline left off for the coastal city in attempt to find opportunity. He at first was educated at the fields of surveying, and was able to acquire money for his efforts, though he couldn't prosper. He soon turned towards shipbuilding- an essential industry for coastal cities- and built parts for ships. He soon had an unexpected liking for the sea after being requested as a crew member for a naval exploration on the ship, the Pioneer, in return for payment. He enjoyed the excitement on the vast, blue seas, where there was unknown places to be found and explored.

Soon, at age 28, he began building his own ship for a year, calling it the Doldrums, a medium sized ship, and recruited a crew of twelve members. Mainly, Raline and the crewmen's intent is to map out the land correctly, focusing on cartography, and discovering uncharted areas.

Currently, he is a father of a family including a wife and two older sons and one younger daughter. (7 years old, 5 years old, and 4 years old, respectively) He usually doesn't have the chance to see them much, and only visits them once every two or three months.

    Magic type: N/A

    Age: 33

Appearance: 6'3", light skin along with amber eyes. His hair is brown and short, flattening out on the top. His physique is not very buff, and of average weight. He is sometimes seen wearing a black suit, though not very elegant. His clothes aren't very glamorous, though he attempts to keep it clean and tidy.

    Gender: Male

    Other:

Personality: As the captain of the ship, he is determined to be a "take charge" person. He tries to do things his own way, even if it isn't the best. He can, however, make decisions quickly, especially in times of danger.

Raline has a short temper, getting angered unnecessarily at times. He doesn't take criticism lightly, and is usually cold or condescending to his crewmen or peers, though for an average captain, he treats his crewmen decently and only disciplines when needed, despite being strict. He tries to disregard his superior level of captain and treat the people as an equal.

He is also attentive at small details and observant. Ironically, he is quick to jump into conclusions or assumptions before viewing things correctly.

    And magic. It solves everything.
    ((Whoops.))

    Harder!? ya right.

    Quote from Lonestarr01

I like to play on hardcore, and when this change first came out, it killed me a lot xD It was even the end of me in my main hardcore world.... So I decided to come up with a few techniques to combat the new skele jerks.

    1) As I'm sure all of you know already, skeles shoot in a pattern, and the first of my tips is to study and get to know this pattern. Know what they will do before they do it, it will save your life more than once.

    2) Holding right mouse button with your sword out. It seems a lot of people have forgotten about this feature. Blocking will reduce the damage a skele does by half. Unfortunatly, the knockback still has some effect. Still, blocking when you know the skele is about shoot can really help, especially if you're low on life.

    3) Don't run straight on, zig-zag as much as you can. Skeles do have better aim now, but that does not mean they cannot miss ;D If possible, try to take cover behind something and let the skele come to you, making him easy pickings.

    4) Use a bow ;D ever heard of fight fire with fire? Imagine the arrows are the fire.

Not that great of tips, but hey whatever. Hopefully it helps a few people out

Listen to these tip and then you can kill those guys.
I killed 2 skeletons with a wood sword. last night.

    Bio (optional): N/A
Magic type (if you have it): N/A
    Age:19
    Appearance:
    gender: Male
Other: Is this magic stuff Runescape or Wizard 101 based or something? Honestly I would be fine with RS but Wiz 101 magic will make me leave.

    Accepted. I'll explain magic.
There are runes you CAN use for spells to lesson the mana it takes or if you have a highly enchanted staff that will lessen the mana it takes for a certain type of magic, also you can take physical pain from spells if you don't have the correct implements like should have rune/staff of that element to make casting a poison cloud easier and less painful (specififc runes are better, so that mages aren't overpowerd) but NO wizard 101 magic. you see my character go uncouncios becouse he wasnt useing his staff or any runes also it takes willpower to use powerful spells.
    Oh ya PAGE CLAIM......

(also i didn't believe i would get this many players so thanks :) )
