"No, for I once had my own priest who could gaze into the future. He told me my power would be destroyed and I would lose something very valuable, I didn't believe him. In only a couple of weeks I lost my family, my arm, and my strength." Turgen said, sorrow in his voice as he remembered those times. "I will follow what you say, and I cannot thank you enough for this information. If I live to beat down this curse know that if you ever require the aid of a strong hand, send for me and I will come."

Turgen then turned towards Ardin, "I'm assuming this is where we depart, if so, farewell and may the gods be with you"

Turgen was not one for diplomacy, subtlety or fine talk. He always cut to the chase, if he need something done he'd do it and nothing else. So he answered the question straight forward, knowing that he could take out this frail old man if needed as well "I'm a Vampire, I require a cure."

"No" Turgen said, he prepared himself mentally and waited until a short, gray haired old man opened the door slowly, leaning heavily on a worn cane made out of oak. "What brings such warriors to my abode this day?" The man asked in a deep, slow voice.

"We do" Kyle yelled and rushed into the fray, and quickly dealt with the remaining mobs. After the all die he felt a new sense of comradeship with these people, they did save his life.

Then again they were the ones who had built a house begging to be robbed, non of that crossed Kyles mind though, lucky for them.

((Don't do that, LaaM is not a good example of a good RP, it's active sure but it's quality is horrid. Let's try and make a good RP not just a popular one.))

Kyle was losing energy, fast, he wouldn't be able to hold back the mobs for long and he knew it. During a brief second when he wasn't fighting off the mobs he looked around and noticed Nate building a cobble wall. If I make it there, i'll be able to survive! Kyle killed the mobs near him and full of desperation ran as fast as he could towards the cobble wall.

"Yep! I'm peachy! Ya know', two fire nation soldier's chasing me and i'm just peachy!" Destro said sarcastically, the fire nation guards were catching up quickly and Destro took a deep breath. He hadn't fought in so long, but he could do this.

He clenched his teeth together, a glint of determination in his eyes. He span around and stood in a wide stance, arms bent and out on either side of his body, ready to bend. He jumped forward and landed on the ground, hard, he sent a minor quake through the ground aiming to knock down the fire nation goons, they saw it coming and jumped forward, sending burst's of flame from there hands, encircling Destro. He pushed up with his hand's a created a circle of pure earth before pushing it out, knocking back the firebenders.

"Let's go!" Destro said, and started running out of the town. The whole time a stupid grin plastered over his face.

    ((Ah okay, that's fine.))

"Yes, I've been looking for a cure for months." Turgen said, he was always one to trust fast and regret later, "Lead the way, and i'm Turgen just so you know, whats your name?"

((Knowledge is like an item would be, your character must collect it before using it, if I pulled out a bow it would be against the rules because my char had never collected that item in the RP, same with knowledge. But, to not cause an argument and such I'll just let it slide, but don't metagame again, that's all you were doing.))

Turgen weakly grabbed the cup, and drank from it deeply. The blood slid down his throat, every drop satisfying him and making him stronger. He could feel the blood working it's magic and slowly stood up, "Thank you, young warrior." He cleaned his sword quickly, and sheathed it, "Before I leave, know this. If you ever need assistance I will do my all to help you, to pay back the debt I owe to you."

Turgen knew the boy had yet to face a true foe yet, his blade still untainted with the blood of his enemies. He could feel it in his sword strikes, could see it in his eyes that lacked the hardness of a true veteran. Yet Turgen may lose, for all his years of training, and him once being considered the best warrior in his lands he might lose. He fought with his only arm, the one he had rarely trained with, the one accustomed to holding a shield. He fought on though, summoning a inner strength, letting his eyes get tinted red with battle rage as he fought with all the fury of a tiger protecting its cubs.

He was closing in, he could see victory, could see the fright in young man's eyes as he lost ground as his foes sword got near with every stab. He gave one last slice that must hit, then he felt a sharp pain shoot up from his legs, he could feel it. Turgen's leg's were weak from the curse and after running for hours they gave out, he fell to the ground. A useless heap. A useless heap that would die soon, all he could do was to clutch his sword tightly so that he may go to the afterlife with the blade that had always served him faithfully.

((You don't have to kill him, you could, but please don't, I like my character.))

Turgen rolled then got up quickly, he lunged toward Ardin, his sword stabbing forward at Ardin's chest.

((Oopsies, I was waiting for you Barry))

Turgen waited until the young man got close then sprang from the bushes, he had the advantage of size and knew it, he threw his entire body at the young man, sword point leading the way. Even if he managed to knock aside his blade he would be knocked to the ground.
