hmm... well by limestone I take it you mean sandstone? And did you want smooth sandstone texture on the stairs, on all sides? or did you want the regular sandstone cracks on all sides of the stairs? If you want smooth stairs, then all you need is optifine, I added optifine smooth stairs for regular sandstone. However, it is now possible to make any vanilla textures look however you want, the new models allow you to manipulate all sides faces you name it of a texture.

In either case, just tell me what you want done and I can fix it, then make a temporary download for you.

And I do have a lot of 3D models added already. redstone, rails, brick, planks, torch, redstone torch, doors, crafting table, furnace etc.

New redstone dust, 3d model and new redstone torch model. Please comment on the wall mounted redstone torch, I'm not happy with it, but it's functional as far as redstone goes.

    Updated crafting table slightly

    New buttons with custom textures

    Simmer glass panes

Tweaked the furnace, the 1.8 furnace now runs on its own textures so that it wont interfere when the pack is loaded through 1.7. I also added another animation to the front of the lit furnace to replicate that randomly glowing effect created by fire.

    Fixed the glitchy brick model.

I love fishy's textures, I love Derivation. But.. I also like new things. copying a style is a great way to get started though(heck, that's how I started). If you want some inspiration besides other peoples texturepacks, I would suggest looking at the metal slug games among others.
Otherwise you could always decide to take up Derivation and create all the missing textures and start releasing that instead. I think Levaunt even allows us to distribute it commercially as long as he is credited I believe.

On a more related note, here is someone who not only takes copying to the extremes, re-sizing textures from polycount and redistributing discontinued texture packs, putting ad.fly links on everything. Copying screenshot layouts and display pictures, covering up watermarks with his/her own ones. Even trying to copy resourcepack names.

EDIT: Commando steel disaster, Gunforce 2

You should tell me what textures you would like changed and how. What bothers you the most atm with the pack. I'l take critique instead of money any day.

Sure, all donations and most of the ad revenue I get go to savethechildren. But you should keep that money to yourself, I'll keep making textures with or without donations.

I know Alvoria :/ although some big youtubers have already changed models to achieve this effect etc but the common man wont try to learn models to simply put together an x-ray pack. Lets face it, the old xray pack makers were people who thought they had found something unique and their 10 minutes of deleting textures was a grand feat.

I might actually remove the highlighted ores just to annoy all the cheaters.

Besides, any server with some self respect runs anti xray plugins which renders this pack useless.

lol, sorry Zard, just tired of all the people who say it is not possible. It requires a lot more from the users computer specs though since most solid blocks are now made out of 12 elements instead of 1.I'm thinking about turning it into 4 elements instead. I tried to minimize the cube before to a 1x1x1 element, but it looked too funny and was hard to navigate.

This is ,mostly a proof of concept, HOWEVER, You still can't see all the caves/pockets properly, one has to move their POV around, to make caves pop in and out of existence. So in that regard, the terrible xray provided by resourcepacks are now even worse than before.

New furnace and furnace models. Several new textures for these two blocks. An animated fire texture inside the furnace, two different bottom textures, updated top texture, new side texture and two new front textures. Featuring a hollow furnace with 2 compartments and 3D stove top.

How about we visit discontinued "open" packs and make textures for them? In particular the once that are struggling. And have a contest to see who can imitate the style the best (hint hint Derivation).
