Honestly, I can't say I can't and I don't. The man just doesn't get enough updates, I mean the whole modders section has came up with more updates than Mojang ever could.
The Mo'Creat. guy for example, he has made more Mobs than Notch has ever had.

i dont think so, but if he did, it should be old style musket.
and it would work like:
it is 1 hit kill
it takes 15 seconds to reload.
bullets are crafted like so:
ths will give you 2 bullets.
i think muskets would be ok, but like i showed, you need to work really fing hard to get them!
(they would be nerfed on mp)
EDIT: also, i almost forgot. you would only be reloading of you were HOLDING it in your hand. not just in your inventory. also, you can only have 1 musket at a time in your inventory.
