    changing the warp repeatedly like that is bound to cause issues sooner or later. azanor has already come up with a solution to extreme warp for updating. your existing warp will become 50/50 sticky permanent. i suggest either waiting to do forbidden research until the update or just research like normal and pretend everything's alright :P

    also: the full thaumonomicon includes addon research, so it will differ with each mod setup. you will probably need to craft forbidden items to get the eldritch things, though. might i also suggest forbidden magic? it has various mod interaction items as well as the ubiquitous umbral rose (grow the ink) and even lets you use your wand to start fire on netherrack/obsidian.

    Reactorcraft's magnetite is just everywhere and sticks out even more when other ores are sparse.

    you can install cofhcore and set it up to replace all of the reactorcraft magnetite with smooth stone.

    I've been reading the wiki and I'm a little confused.

    "files with a valid language key as the same, with a .lang prefix"
    what does that even mean? ._.

    EDIT: figured it out. it means "en_US.lang" and such file names.
    the "as the same" threw me off i guess :c

    wait, what?
    you just install forge, look for your minecraft folder, and drop various mods into the mods folder.
    as for mod suggestions? witchery and blood magic are some nice ones.
    as for thaumcraft addons: automagy, thaumic explorer (beta), and forbidden magic are some others
