We keep getting this error too. It doesn't happen too often but when it does we lose nearly an hours worth of work. We even have it set to autosave every 15 minutes. Still we lose progress. I know I'm getting very frustrated with it, especially when I'm working on a big build. Really wish this error would get fixed.
I have one amazing suggestion. I think it would be great if you could switch between texture packs while you're playing in creative mode. Maybe at the top below the tabs in the creative menu you could have a drop down selection of all your purchased texture packs. I think this would make the game play a lot more fun and convenient.
