    if you want to use both forge mods and bukkit plugins, you can make a cauldron server.

    but due to some takedowns this temporary site has put up the cauldron server files http://minecraft.maeyanie.com/cauldron/


    sadly (as far as im aware) version 1.7.10 is the newest available version.

    if you add the player and the hostile mob that you want onto the same team using the /scoreboard command

    the mob wont hit any player on the chosen team , the mobs become passive to its team mates.

    another way of doing this is to place a dropper so that it will drop an item into a item sorter.
    just in order to change the odds of the item being chosen just change how many slots an item occupies

    in this example the odds for wood are 6/9 and the odds for gold are 3/9: wood=w and gold=g

    after hours of searching online for a beta 1.7.3 server jar , i finally found one.

    but once i loaded it up i got a protocol error.(my ports are all forwarded because my 1.7.10 cauldron server works just fine.)


    every time i load up the server jar file , a different ip appears to the left of the protocol error that isn't linked to any of the ips on my router.


    is there anything anyone can do to fix this for me... ps the protocol error doesn't appear in the console log until a couple minutes after the jar has been launched.

    I'm looking for a survival seed with a fairly large building area at all 4 corners of the world and that has a good amount of biomes.


    And most importantly , i DONT want to know if the seed has anything special (for ex:nothing about any villages, diamonds, temples, dungeons, or strongholds)

    and this post was created before they announced that we would be getting "addons" so this was my way of making the best out of the situation.

    i noticed while playing battle mode online that different players can host different amount of players in their game without beginning to have unbearable lag.


    so my solution to this problem is to give the ability to battle mode hosts to lower the max amount of people that are able to join in their game.

    i dont think you will need playstation plus(i dont have a playstation) multiplayer tends to be free on playstation , but on xbox unless your playing offline multiplayer you will need xbox live gold.
