Uhm are you sure... I mean she could make something like skynet. And.. skaia? And... derse.. Nope off topic.. but maybe?

A while back we came up with a whole bunch of possibilities. Shes a group of people. Shes BlueHorizon. Shes a robotic alien from outer space here to conduct psychological experiments by making humans wait for something they want.....

I thank you for the kind words but I have been through all possible avenues of discussion with them and see no point in wasting me time any more.
Such an error as losing all the mod files and maps is inexcusable.
I have backups and will use them on MultiMC, but SlowPoke the author has lost my trust.

Ahh slowpoke is the man. You should probably play vanilla it's safer.

With winter on the way I would love a mod that gives some love to snow biomes. Decoration blocks, forge compatability, besides that I would love anything that could make a winter cottage more cozy.

    Thanks!
    Have a happy thanksgiving.

    My mods.... D:
You know what bugs my more than bugs, multiple updates that don't noticeably change game play.

They say there are bugs in 1.4.2, I don't see any. What I see is that mojang breaks every mod on a routine schedule.

Wow, and I thought the mess in the toilets at work today was the biggest pile of crap I'd have to deal with.... There are so many things wrong with this, I won't be able to cover them all, but lets just pick a few choice tidbits:

First, [Citation needed] on pretty much every single figure you posted.
Nuclear energy is totally able to be regulated in its output.
Wind generated power is no different in it's storage to any other form of generated power. It still gets stored the same way.
Antimatter is no where near being a fuel. It takes way more energy to create situations that scientists THINK contain antimatter than it would be able to create as a fuel source.
Antimatter and fusion reactors are all currently completely unattainable and thus moot.
Your blathering on "efficiency" is laughable.
The "Efficiency" of EVERY single one of those things is measured in COMPLETELY different ways, and are thus completely incomparable.
WTF at litre and liter, both are exactly 1000mL, which is 1g water at standard pressure and temperature.
One gallon is 3.785L, regardless of what country the litres happen to call home.
America is the weird country when it comes to using imperial / metric / SI.
You use , in place of . and vice versa over and over again.
The best link for energy density of petrol / gasoline I could find puts it at 35MJ/L
This would be 1.7GJ for a 50L tank, not 2.8.
I have absolutely no idea how you translated this into a distance, especially as you made no mention of force, distance, work, newtons or other useful metrics, let alone the weight of the car.

We do have fusion reactors, just not fusion generators. Look it up.

A string of Retrievers set to sequential to cycle through the nine slots with a 'restock' button to empty the chests before pulling a new set of items.

edit: I don't know if setting it to sequential would even really be needed. Might add a restriction tube between the supply chests and the Retrievers though.

With computer craft you could do that really easy, just have the turtle compare items, in selected slots. Lua is fun

Ya I heard Direwolf20 make it sound like that once there was something fixed with forge that Redpower would get released. So it was something with forge that prevented it's release today. I heard Direwolf say on slowpoke's stream that redpower would be released "very soon." Nearly 8000 people were on slowpoke's stream for the release of the Feed the Beast(FTB) Launcher.

Hurraaaaaayyyy just in time for my thanksgiving vaca!

    Thanks Eloraam!

Now it's just random people making one post with an argument and other random people continuing it. It never ends.

If you have nothing to say about the mod itself, then please STOP.

How about this, the mod could possibly be included the the FTB mod pack released in less than an hour.

Sounds like something Eloraam would say! :steve_shocked:

How does the saying go? "There are no atheists in a foxhole." Well I think until redpower is released there won't be any athiests on the redpower thread.

What would be really nice is if the mod authors got together and decided to put a freeze on the MC version that they will all write their mods for. Then we can play MC with ALL the mods we like instead of "Well, I have this one and this one, but that author and that author are skipping this MC version so I'm stuck with only some of the mods I normally use."

These piddly little updates that Mojang keeps coming out with are causing havoc for modders and players both. I could see them doing this if they were actually fixing things, but updates to add witches? Beacons? We really need this? Maybe just pick a number like "We will update our mods only for major version changes. 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, etc. and ignore the oddballs." This would allow them to have time to update the mod to the new MC version and get a playable mod out for it. Then in-between MC versions they can release new mod versions that just add new stuff to the mod.

As for the people getting upset. I think it was a mistake to allow videos from the dev server to be released. The players are able to see these mods, and see the devs playing and having fun with them, and see them in a "playable and working state" even if they are not perfect and then they get upset because they can't use them.

and finally a voice of reason speaks...

Since redpower has the possibility of releasing at the same time as the FTB mod pack I thought I would post the status report. This was posted Nov7

"With the US and China both getting new leaders this week the world is changing a lot but we can't let them have all the action so we are proud to announce the launch of the official Feed The Beast launcher and modpack!

The launch will be on the 10th of November 2012 (That’s Saturday) at 7pm GMT (11am PST with the stream starting an hour before) the launch will be streamed at with lots of special guests live on stream so be sure to follow to make sure you don’t miss that!

We would like to stress that whilst the launcher is now at a standard that we are comfortable launching it. The mod packs that will be distributed with the initial release are interim packs only. As new mods are updated and released to the public these mods will be intergrated into the packs and available to download as soon as is possible. We could have continued to wait, but honestly when loking forwards it could easily have been another month before everything was..."
