I think it could be a great punishment which makes the game fun

That makes no sense. A "punishment" is not "fun" to anyone except masochists like you.

then don't play the game? or play peaceful? I mean i could say the same thing when Mojang announces hunger.

If Mojangcrasoft used that logic, nobody will play Minecraft. Mojang also doesn't expect you to play in Peaceful.

I think differently. I think there should be more.

Again, not fun for anyone except extreme masochists like you.

If a Player is going to be slaughtered over and over bcause they didn't thought of any creative solution to beat the diamond gear opponent, i guess they deserve it.

That's just a victimisation of newcomers. They don't deserve to get spawn killed and their health whittled down to 3 hearts.

But that set of thinking is what created filthy casuals like the game journalist who plays cuphead and can't even beat the tutorial level. I say make Minecraft great again by filtering those who really want to be deeply connected to the game and the toxic children from the game. Look at games like Dark Souls where many considers masterpiece yet its punishingly hard but people love it.

Dark Souls is really only for extreme masochists like you.

casuals getting angry for being punished for doing somethig wrong in the game. Winning is good but giving everyone the throphy is just objectively bad.

I'm not a casual. I don't think Minecraft is too hard. Minecraft is NOT too easy, it is just the right difficulty. You're just a masochist who enjoys punishment.

I differ to that. It's the reason why i purely enjoy Minecraft Is Too Easy mod. In fact, that mod isn't even hard, just tedious due to slow progression instead of complex mechanic.

You only play that mod because you're an extreme masochist. (Though I agree that Minecraft's progression needs to be longer. Just not harder.

posted a message on Further Uses of Bamboo
    Quote from T0gaJohn»

I really like the new bamboo, but it might be nice if it had a few more uses. Here are three suggestions, very much in keeping with how bamboo is used in real life:

Bamboo Mat - This would simply be an appropriately patterned carpet block made from bamboo rather than wool. Given the fecundity of bamboo in game, two bamboo to one mat (using the current carpet crafting pattern) seems about right.

Bamboo Block - Scaffolding is great, but what about a more durable bamboo construction option? I have in mind a solid block of bamboo. It would be handled by the game like a log, from the sides giving the impressions of a bamboo wall with bamboo stems running parallel to each other. It would be easier to break than wood, but would lack scaffolding's specially fragile properties. The crafting pattern would be a 3x3 square of bamboo, producing 3 bamboo blocks.

Bamboo Fence - This is pretty self-explanatory. It would be crafted from bamboo block and bamboo, and would act like other sorts of fence, save that, again, it would be somewhat easier to break. In appearance it would work like wall, only with uniform thickness and a thinner profile view. (It would provide a nice aesthetic element for making things like bamboo screens.)

All of these together would allow for some new, Asian influenced elements in building aesthetics. They would also, just as bamboo sometimes does in real life, provide some economical building options (with trade offs) for those blessed with an abundance of bamboo.

Full Support. It just makes sense.

    Quote from T0gaJohn»

Yeah, I knew about the giant mushrooms. That was why I said, "Right now, farming mushrooms is not especially practical unless one grows giant mushrooms. I'd like to see an option to cultivate mushrooms more like other crops"

It isn't that I want more mushrooms, it's that I'd like a more agricultural method of farming them.

Right now, growing mushrooms is just like growing trees. It's already a well-used method. It also has a very high yield (20ish out for every mushroom in).

No Support - this is way too tedious. IMHO, keepInventory should be true by default - we all know that feeling of rage when you die far away form home and can't get to your items in time before they respawn.

Light Brown Dye. This is an idea I've had floating around my head for a while that I genuinely want in the game. It could be so aesthetic. Something similar to creamy coffee?

    Uses:

New wool! It would be great for tents, beds and rugs (it would match many real life animal fur colors that regular brown just deosn't get right, so you could make pelt rugs too)

New stained clay/concrete! It would be great for modern houses, flooring, manmade rocks, et cetera.

New dyed armor. A minor addition, but the new dye would be great for khaki pants.

See my post above about how Mojangcrasoft won't add any more dyes?

Mojangcrasoft should conduct the vote again, given that we had literally no idea what the mobs would be.

Mushrooms can already be farmed.Just bone meal the mushrooms so they grow into huge mushrooms, cut down the mushroom, repeat. Has a surprisingly high yield.

posted a message on Enough with Mob Loot Boxes

I think these items should be obtained not through luck and grinding or straight grinding(like you suggest) but through skill.

Wither Skeletons: They should only drop skulls when killed with a hoe.

    Nautilus Shells: See AMPPL50's suggestion.

Tridents: These should be craftable. (Now Drowned have no uses. They need to be removed IMHO.)

You'd still need to pay for the stuff and it would probably be priced in such a way that you can't just get it immediately at the start of the game. You probably also wouldn't be able to use it in creative mode.

There is no such thing as "priced in such a way that you can't just get it immediately at the start of the game". It's possible to get arbitrarily many emeralds without ever crafting tools. With this, the entire progression system is optional.

You can't just throw together 45 different pictures you saw on a nature documentary. You need to state what you can find in the biomes, how rare they are, what they would look like in Minecraft, et cetera.

Everyone wants phantoms gone. They literally FORCE you to sleep, FORCING you to maintain a diurnal routine. Minecraft is all about player choice. Phantoms ruin it.

Trading with other people would make singleplayer, well, not singleplayer. Not to mention that it would be so OP (i.e. you would be able to buy diamonds/the dragon egg/anything only available in Creative at the very start of the game).
