UPDATES & CHANGES:
Vanilla Bow and Shield had their durability decreased to balance all the other new bows and shields.

Firelance now has Torch modifier.
Slightly adjusted loot box rarities.
Fixed Hylian Box not dropping from proper mobs.
Fixed Longbow and Crossbow acting like the Hero's Bow.
Added the missing Master Sword and Triforce crafting recipes.
If a mob can drop multiple loot boxes, all possible loot boxes have a chance to drop instead of just one.
If you look at the screenshot, you'd realise both of those questions are irrelevant...
The next update (coming sometime this week probably) will have 9 new Loot Boxes containing over 100 new items, including various different types of melee weapons, bows and shields!
The one after that will be add quite a bit of new armour sets with bonuses for wearing the whole set, and various individual armour pieces with unique effects.
If you'd like to see a few of the upcoming Legend of Zelda-related items that will be in the upcoming FandomCraft ReMix 1.12.2 version, check out my other mod, Ultmate Lootboxes and find yourself the Hylian Box!
Latest update contains various Legend of Zelda items from my upcoming FandomCraft ReMix mod in the new Hylian Box, as well as some bug fixes and config options.
There's now also a Mystery Box which lets you create your very own Loot Box with the contents of your current inventory (meant for servers/creative).
Fixed server/console spam.
Fixed backwards drop rate modifier.
Fixed block tooltips causing a crash on servers.
Added developer printout config option (default OFF).
So it's been a while and I ran into quite a bit of issues trying to figure out what's changed since 1.7.10 and how to do things "properly" now.
It only took so long because there's basically NO halfway decent help or tutorials for the things that changed the MOST and the people over at the MinecraftForge forums are just horrible people who offer no help whatsoever.
Anyway, making my newest mod, Ultimate Loot Boxes, helped teach myself the old fashioned way (basically a **** ton of trial and error) how things are done now so things with FandomCraft Remix should be smooth sailing from now on out.
If you can't wait for FandomCraft Remix to come out, some of the new, yet-to-be-released, items from it will be obtainable in the Ultimate Loot Boxes mod within the next few days!
Fixed config changes not loading.
I doubt anyone will ever make a mod like this, if it can even be done.
Your only real options are:
1.) Get a modern computer. Like seriously, $300 can get you a good enough computer to play Minecraft at 60-100 fps even with Forge and mods. 32-bit computers are almost unheard of now. If running out of memory is your problem, just allocate more memory into Minecraft through its launcher.
2.) Find (or request) a mod or mods that add all the new Minecraft features into 1.7.10. I know there used to be one out there, but I don't know how updated it is.
I realise it's been like a month since I've last posted any news, but anyone else who works in retail knows it's the busiest time of year.
Not to mention I've got quite a few new games recently so I haven't spent much time working on this.
I hope to have a playable release for potential beta testers after the holidays.
I've been busy lately so I haven't been able to work on it much, but here's some more progress to keep things going.
(The modelling software I've been using for some reason gives the models a blueish glow. That won't be in the actual gameplay.)
Like, would I just make a new thread in Minecraft Mods and let the thread in WIP Mods die?
Or do I just ask someone to move the thread?
I don't want to try one or the other without asking first just in case my large post ends up disappearing.
Asking for future reference.
