Awww fuuuuuudge xD No wonder I haven't found any on those biomes. Where do you got to check the config/biomesoplenty/structures/villages.cfg? Sorry I don't really mess around with files much x.x
Hmm that reminds me, that green hills biome might be from ExtremeBiomesXL then...my bad!
I've been trying to find villages in Biomes O' Plenty but its been hard trying to find them in these specific biomes. Anyone know of seeds that match these criteria? (For 1.7.10)
Been looking for villages in these biomes:
green hills, bamboo groves, cherry blossom groves, lavender fields
I'd also like to find a village right next to a tall mountain if possible too. No luck finding that so far :\ But this kind of mountain/village is what I'm looking for (Tall mountain like the one on the left of image, and village is right next to it. In a green biome too)
I've been trying to look for villages in these biomes for the past 3 days almost nonstop, but these biomes are not only hard to find, but when I do, I dont find a village in them. Could use some help if you have found any, thanks!
Hi guys, I have a question regarding this mod. So, so far, loving it alot! This definitely makes the villages alot more alive and feels like I'm not the only "human" character here.
-But I've been wondering, can the NPC's respawn or other NPC's replace another if one is killed? For example, if a guard is killed, will a new one spawn in to replace that guard?
-And how can I make more NPC's spawn in the village (besides having children and the marital family stuff)? Without commands if possible? Should I make more housing? Is there a technique for more npc's to spawn that go over the original amount of npc's already in the village?
Ooh ok, so its not recommended for third party modpacks. Would FTB ones be considered 3rd party mod packs too? Or are they "first party" since they are official ones? And if they are "official," would it be ok to add some extra mods that modify villagers or adds more mobs? Thanks
Hi guys, sorry for another question thread, but questions keep coming into my mind as i explore more in depth into the mc modding scene. So, I was wondering about these few things:
If I removed a mod (such as Thaumcraft) from a modpack, would it break the game potentially? Or not at all?
What types of mods added/removed would break a game? I heard that adding or removing a mod could break a game that was quest heavy
If I for example, wanted to remove some more "cosmetic" type of mods from the modpack such as Cosmetic Armors mod or Chisel mod and decided to add other mod(s) I wanted, would it also have a possibility to break the game?
One last question...will adding the Minecraft Comes Alive mod into a mod heavy modpack such as Awakening or an FTB one cause any glitches/bugs/potential game breakers?
Hi guys, just saw on a modpack where there were NPC "civiliians" and "guards" (looked like players, not villagers) that would say something (A random phrase for example like "good morning!" or "hi there") if you were near them. Which popular mods are able to make such NPC's besides Custom NPC's mod? I tried looking thru some mod lists, but can't seem to find one related to NPC's, unless I misread or skipped it by accident.
Also any popular modpacks that have already generated NPC's like the described above ^^^? I don't want to be in a lonely world being the only "human" I: Could use some civilization to keep me sane lol
Hi guys, so I know I posted a similar thread on the Mod packs forum section. But right now, I've found some modpacks that were similar to what I had in mind. But one problem came down to this...too many weapons/armor types and ores :I...I don't even know what ore belongs to which pack out of the over 100 something...mods in the modpack. Not only that, but some weapons/armor look completely different from those of the other mods where they don't look compatible at all in one minecraft modpack game. Soooooo...I could use some help looking for a modpack with these criteria in mind xD
-Singleplayer (NO SCIFI if possible plz) RPG/Adventure
-Exploration
-Quests
-Plenty of variety of Biomes (Biome's o Plenty preferred)
-Large variety of dangerous and neutral mobs
-Boss fights
-Weapons/Armor (A decent amount, but not a huge overflowing amount until where you don't know which mod the armors or weapons are from)
-Magic
-Interactable NPC's (human looking ones, not just villagers)
-A bit of tech (not too much, like a few tech/transportation mods are good enough)
-Cities, Forts, Castles, Towns, Villages,etc.
-Recruitable NPC's/ Pets?
Ive taken a look at Tolkiencraft and other such mods already, which are pretty cool, but Tolkiencraft is Lord of the Rings and I'm trying to find something towards being more original. Other mods such as Stranded aren't my type either. I want something with a world where there are alot of NPC's where some can be interactable and give quests and even attack enemy mobs too. Still trying to look for a mod like this, but I can't seem to find one atm. Awakening modpack atm is in beta, and seems to match the descriptions i have (most of them)
Oh thanks! I found Tolkiencraft and Journey to the Core too the other day, and decided to check it out (videos n stuff). But I'm not exactly into like forever stranded either haha. Been trying to look for one where theres other npc's too. But thanks lots for the suggestions!
Hi guys, new to MC modding here, but I've been trying to look for a mod pack that resembles somewhat like elder scrolls medieval/fantasy gameplay...well here's what I'm trying to look for anyways:
-Singleplayer Adventure & RPG
-Map is extremely huge and explorable (w/ dungeons, etc. all sorts)
-fighting, armor/weapons (swords, axes, etc, NO sci-fi guns) (Armor is actually detailed not just re-colored vanilla mc armor)
-magic
-a large variety of mobs(a large variety of both dangerous and neutral mobs)
-towns/villages/forts/castles/(cities?)
-NPC's (that look like players, not just villagers)
-NPC follower(s)
-QUESTS!
-Survival
-LOTS OF BIOMES!! (BIOME's O' Plenty if possible xD)
-Andddd tech is fine too, but more like somewhat "ancient" technology, not sci-fi type
If possible:
-NPC's that give you quests (or NPC's that talk)
-Night time is actually dangerous and towns/villages/forts are fortified for night to be safe
So yeah...xD All these things compiled into one mod...if there are similar mods, with a couple of the above mods missing or some other mods that aren't in this list either...well just similar mods overall! I'd like to know those ones too since I'm still exploring all these wonderful mods on curse

Hi guys while I tried to play a modpack on ATLauncher, minecraft wouldnt launch and this showed up on the errors list:
[23/3/2017 16:47:13 PM] [SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] Unable to launch
[23/3/2017 16:47:13 PM] java.util.ConcurrentModificationException
Does that mean I need to install forge since I don't have it already? What exactly does it mean :\
There were also a bunch of warnings for other stuff too, but it seems this one was the most important in preventing mc from launching.
EDIT: NEVERMIND FOUND OUT WHY...Problem solved...Sorry! >.< Anyway to close this thread? Thx

Oh ok! Thx for the suggestion!
