Mining Hub [/b]- These are rare structures which have villager miners and blacksmith. They look like abandoned mines except that its not actually abandoned and there are glass, torches, and villagers in it. Also there are underground houses.
This sounds SO cool. I'll love to be mining and BANG, villagers. It is a cool idea indeed.
TheMasterCaver gave great examples about a giant cave systems. Those kind of things would be awesome for both exploring and building.
I'll say that any mod that does not modify crafts nor adds any new items works just fine. I'm in love with the vanilla game, it is awesome just at is it, either way... sometimes I look for some mods to enhance my gameplay experience. Minimaps (with markers), Optifine, more non-hostile mobs such as animals and insects, new biomes generation and things like that are great to begin with. I'm also a fan of mods like Lumberjack because, even though Minecraft is a universe with unique rules and weird physics laws I truly believe that a tree should entirely fall if a chop its base. I think that this specific mod adds new crafts so i'll rater use one that implements the single-chop function.
Protect your "enderman spawnable blocks" with slabs and that's it. As Hexalobular says, they can't spawn over slabs. Also, he suggests something quite useful: create a 2 blocks high zone around your farm so there will be no space available for enderman, both spawnining nor teleporting.
I would love to see more life in the sky, especially since the existence of the Elytra. Players can fly now and that's a BIG change. The existence of mobs in the overworld gives more activity to the game because the player used to expend a lot of time in there. Now, with the aquatic update, we have lots of aquatic mobs so the player won't feel so bored while swimming. Flying mobs it's the next logical step for Minecraft. You can fly? Cool. You can reach anywhere at the speed of light. But what if we add some things to make the the flying experience something more than "gotta go fast"? I have some ideas for this:
Hawks: with nests in large biomes that will become hostile to any entity that comes close to their nest. Also, they will fly around hunting animale such a Sheeps or Chickens.
Budgerigar: little passive mobs that while stay on trees eating fruits and making sounds. It would be great ambience sound and visuals in forests.
Owl: they will be around in forests but only at night. I think that there can be a visual effect (buff) related with them.
(Interesting) Bat: they are there but... that's it. Minecraft could have bats cloud in caves and the could also and some drops to this little guys that are nothing but wanderers.
Butterfly: More colorful creatures that would fly around. They could be captured by the user in jars.
Firefly: More insects, yes! They could also be captured by the player in crystal jars and them be used as an reduced light source.
Even though it might look nice (I think that a stair with grass over it would be 10/10) it does not make any sense to me. I mean, the dirt with any other shape than a cube is... weird? I mean, is... dirt. I don't think that it would be such a logical decoration block.

Dark Oak, Birch and Spruce are my favourite ones. Acacia on the other hand... Oh god...

We need massive mobs at the sea! PLEASE! That would make swimming even more interesting.
