Nov 26, 2010I remember in 8th grade we had this .....technology class. It had all sorts of different work stations that you would complete throughout the year with a partner. There was computer station, a flight simulator station, and a few others. But there was one station in particular that had a little mechanical robot arm thing. It was made of plastic, and wasn't by any means a sturdy contraption.Posted in: General Off Topic
Well one day, I don't remember why, it was the end of class and I was standing over by the robot arm. The bell rang and the students all quickly began shuffling up their stuff, and asking the teacher some remaining questions. Before I grabbed my book bag, I looked at the robot arm and played with it for a few seconds. I gently pushed on it, trying not to break it. I then made an attempt to pivot the arm towards my direction. It didn't move much, which took me by surprise. But I figured it was like an action figure, and the joint was just stuck a little. Well, apparently the arm always locked into it's last position until it was powered on. Well, had I of known that, I wouldn't of pulled so hard. Because when I did, it snapped, and then dangled loosely from it's joint. This all happened in less than a second, and with the mad rush of students distracting the teacher, he never saw a thing.
I silently picked up my remaining items, and walked out of the class as inconspicuously as possible.
Later that day I heard students talking about how raving mad the teacher was about the broken robot arm.
Apparently it was expensive.
Oh. There was another time where I farted in class, and for whatever reason the guy behind me got all the blame.
What was odd was he never shifted the blame back at me. I guess he was confused as to where the sound had come from as well. So I didn't say anything and let everyone blame him for my flatulence.

As a rule, don't **** off the US... or we WILL bring democracy to your country!
The truth behind that statement makes it even more hilarious.

Besides, if it had played out differently, you probably wouldn't have your precious animes today.
I don't quite see how a nuclear attack spawned anime.
Besides, I'm not the biggest fan of it.
that's because I was joking :wink.gif:

Why you so crazy.
Considering the relatively small military response by South Korea it would seem to indicate that the DPRK actually has a fairly good understanding of the South Korean government. North Korea did literally just enough to show the west it was serious without causing immediate full scale war. They are far from being "so crazy".
But of course this is all complete speculation. Because again, this only happened not so long ago and we have no ****ing clue about what exactly happened due to the mass media and what the official justifications will be. It is far to early to be using any of this as a reflection on either state.
Kim Jong-il still looks hilarious.

It's not really that I think it's 'cool' to talk about. I just never understood why it's such a big deal to people. I was always taught growing up to treat others as you would yourself. I don't see the issue. They're just people different from me. So what?
Nov 19, 2010I've never played it, but the first deus ex is supposedly a great rpg. I get recommendations all the time to play it.Posted in: General Gaming
Of course, considering how old it looks, I'm not sure it would hold much appeal with a lot of todays crowd. Not a problem for me, but u could look into it.
