I own and maintain an SMP Minecraft server, which what is built is featured in my Minecraft Mansion Update videos (post v10). I accept suggestions for what to build, and keep a version list.
Guide Lines for a good suggestion:
First off, be SPECIFIC. Being vague will leave a lot to my imagination, and what you thought of might not be what I build.
Try to use words other than "Giant" or "Huge." These vague adjectives leave little to the imagination and a lot to speculation.
If you would like "In The Process" screen shots, let me know and I'll periodically take and post pictures as I build your idea. I can also make "How-to" videos if you wish to know how I built something.
PLEASE AVOID SUGGESTING SCULPTURES/STATUES. I don't enjoy building them, and SSP (Survival Single Player) leaves little resources for colorful pixel art.
Finally, please realize I can't build anything and everything. Only post something that is buildable (and won't take a month to complete). If you want me to build something that's going to take up all of my Minecraft time for a month, you had probably undertake such a task yourself.

This thread is for the FlatCraft Texture pack I made. The main purpose of FlatCraft is to flatten out the textures and make them simple. I found the default, and many other, texture to be painful to look at for to long. I am aware there are other textures out there that simplify the textures, but nothing I really liked. Most of what I found changed to many blocks, and I just wanted something that made everything flat (and make cobble a little prettier :3 ). Here is a demonstration video:
