There's also a new daylight detector variant for you to texture and enjoy. It doesn't appear to be used in-game, though.

It *is* used. Clicking on the daylight detector changes it's appearance to the new file-- a night-light detector i assume.

You don't need to zip it. Does it work without zipping? It isn't hard to zip it wrong.

About the clouds: You simply don't have a cloud side texture. Clouds are models. They aren't extruded planes. You have to (I believe) make it match the existing cloud models.

    That's not correct.

Clouds *are* extruded planes and will have sides for whatever shape you draw in cloud.png. There are no pre-defined cloud models.

It looks to me that your glitches are caused by an HD cloud texture. The geometry doesn't seem to adapt to smaller pixels well. Color can be whatever you want.

Yeah, but now there's not a different texture for fast and fancy. You can only make one of them look right.

For example, I have 2 "layers" of leaves in my texture. Some were in front and lighter, and some were behind and darker. On fancy, the trees become very dark inside, so I made the second layer of leaves darker to blend nicely. On fast, you only see the very outside, so I made the inner layer of leaves lighter because it looked bad when it was as dark as it was in fancy. Now with 1.8, I don't have the option to do this. The leaves look too light on fancy because I chose to make the leaves on fast look good.

Did you even search for a solution?

How to work with the new system was figured out within a day or two of the snapshot coming out and described on their bug report system and on these forums.

For the area that's transparent on "Fancy" you just make it semi-transparent. 10% worked for me. When on "Fancy" it will be totally transparent, and when on "Fast" it will be totally opaque.

In your case you would need to simply make the fill color (or pattern) light enough so that it looked right with the second, darker "layer" of leaves.

    Which mobs are completely finished?

Skellies, Zombies, Creepers, Endermen, Witches, Villagers, Squids, Pigmen, Ghasts, Slimes, New Guardian Fish. Of course it is always possible that i will still find new improvements to make.

EDIT: Also the bat, blaze, snowman, and zombie villagers

PIgs and Sheep may have slipped into recent releases, but they are far from done.

Also Zombies, Villagers, Witches, and Slimes from all supported mods.

Not sure if I will continue to update Bluebird. At least I don't think I will if Mojang doesn't fix the freaking leaves....

Leaves aren't broken, just slightly different.

My clouds aren't all one color, and i've never noticed that issue.

No offence but I must admit that I'm not a huge fan of your 3d mushrooms, they look far too big to me...

...But I still really enjoy your texturepack a lot ;)

me to actualy... even the normal muchrooms are too big a think

Hmm, i originally made the mushrooms much bigger so that they could be seen in the inventory. I just kept that size out of habit. I'll look at it.

    I plan to.

Edit: Oh. I thought that "Alternate Blocks" option only automatically rotated natural blocks. So it's like a "Connected Textures" in vanilla, i suppose ? (Without the option to connect textures, of course).

I don't think rotated "natural" textures look good with Lithos. I think i only left it on for sand.

To keep things from looking too repetitive, I've made a lot of alternate textures for things like stones, dirt, gravel, and some types of trees. In the past you could only see these if you had MCPatcher or Optifine, but Mojang's new block model format, allows me to include those alternate texture with the recent snapshots.

The option simply determines if Minecraft will show any alternate block textures or shapes, as defined by the texture pack. I recommend leaving it "ON" for Lithos.

Are we able to change the colors on the flag with our texture packs? Like, make the ultramarine blue an aqua blue instead?

Nope. The files are essentially stencils for the code-defined colors.

I just got this after another upload to curse that's been done the same way for ever.

The status of the file Lithos Core.zip (Lithos:Core 32x (1.6 - 1.8) Snapshot Ready!) has been changed to Rejected

eyamaz: __MACOSX folders were found in Lithos Core.zip ({FileURL}). This creates unnecessary folders when extracting on non-OS X computers. Please upload a version without these folders.

I wish they would let us know when the standards change, instead of zapping you when you finally get a successful upload.
