I've tried to fix your pack but still, can't load it, I can put it active but once I click done, its gone to the void and I get only the default pack.

Are you trying it with the most recent snapshot? It's not backwards compatable. Anyway, a more recent version of my snapshot pack is out and fixes many glitches.

Also I can't use resource packs, because Lithos:Core is missing some models, which is something the Minecraft launcher is telling me, & it might be eleazzaar's fault. BUT I can use my add-on pack (which doesn't edit any of the models).

The released version of Lithos for the snapshots is a bit messed up. I'm working on it.

But the main problem is the current snapshot 15w33a doesn't won't load resource packs. Use 15w33b.

Do you think you could post those textures for me to swap out ?

You already have everything of that version that ever existed.

Cut them up and save them over the pinker PNGs, and you are good to go.

Archive managers have different ways of unzipping things including different methods (like winRAR has one that unzips to a folder and one that unzips it and doesn't put it in a new folder) that improperly done will break a pack.... so since it isn't needed you shouldn't be telling people to do it.

Sure, but not everyone has one of those. The basic zip apps simply zip or unzip. I'm not going to tell people to download something to skip a simple step.

You need an image editor. You'll need to download one if you don't already have one.

But there's nothing mac-specific about the process.

I don't have a team, but Lithos is 95% complete -- and that includes the latest snapshot stuff.

    1. Take the resource pack you want.
    2. Un-zip it
    3. Delete everything texture you don't want.
    4. Use it (no need to re-zip)

What happened to these textures? I liked them better for the purpur blocks ;(

I made those by looking at screenshots. Once the snapshot came out, I discovered the Purpur was quite a bit lighter and pinker than I had thought.

I like the previous colors better, but one of the core tenants of Lithos:Core is to match the color of the vanilla blocks. A darker "purpur" might go into Lithos:Luminous eventually.

Not sure what you mean. The textures are from 1.8 with no changes. I don't have any json item models for those blocks in the pack. So I would assume the game already points to the default json definitions.

Addition- I checked a couple of other things. The items (food etc) render fine. Even blocks I have not textured like the sponge and red sand are rendering larger than normal. I do not have either red sand or sponge blockstate, model or item jsons for either block in my texture pack. If I switch to vanilla everything renders like it did in 1.8.

The only expaination is that you have included some .JSON files in your pack from 1.8. If you haven’t edited any of those files, they are unneccesary. Simply delete them.

As I said they have changed how scale is rendered in the 1.9 snapshots. .JSON is not compatable between 1.8 and the 1.9 snapshots for this and other reasons.

I'm working on updating a my texture pack to the 1.9 snapshots. This was taken in 15w32c. It is a 64x pack. Purple/blacks are cobble walls I haven't updated to the multipart form yet. Both the block in hand and the wood block forward are rendering about 4x their size than they were in 1.8. The wood block actually floats in the block below so some of it is not shown. Any ideas? I don't want to mess around too much if this is a bug and will be fixed in later snapshots.

They changed the scaling for held items. I don't know if there was a reason, but unless you actually changed those blocks, all you need to do is make sure the game points to the default .JSON definiiotns.

I realized it was going to be a long haul before I got everything working right in the snapshots, so I'm just releasing for 1.8 and the snapshots as things are...

A few things are broken in the snapshot release. Most doors have missplaced textures, The compass back to default, and the inventory display of many blocks is messed up.

Note that the the texture pack for the snapshot will not be compatable with 1.8 and visa versa. You can ignore the warning and run it, but various things will be broken.

posted a message on Latest Changes

I've noticed an oddity with the multipart models.

In the cobble wall, the piece (the post) for "up = true" is used even when up is clearly not true. The post piece is used at all ends and corners and whenever there is a wall directly above. I'm not sure what's going on, presumably the "up = true" blockstate is being loaded with arbitrary information.
