Lithos:Core has alwasy had the slogan: "Mostly Faithful", but recently I've been thinking it really isn't Faithful enough. So I've been working on revising Lithos to really achieve the levels of faithfulness that I know in my heart I can reach. Here's the first screenshot of this new Lithos revision. I'm really feeling the traditional "defualt" vibe from this!
I was wondering if you could make alternate colored gui menus. I guess menu/gui add-ons. Maybe a gray like default. Also, a clear one, and maybe a black/dark one. Thanks for all of your work!
An alternate GUI is possible, we'll see what is popular.
Anybody know if renderpass=Translucent is possible with Optifine for 1.9. I'd like to get my semi-transparent glass going again, but I can't seem to find solid info on what works. And yes, I asked in the Opfine thread, where the post was immediately swallowed by a page of pointless bickering.
I'm looking to update my texture pack to have semi-transparent glass again in 1.9. Can someone point out to me where the documentation is on using renderPass in 1.9, or is this simply not possible?
Somehow the missing texture's texture changed? Not sure how to put it back?
I think it is more likely that that block is set to display only part of one quadrant of a texture, and that just happened to be one of the all pink quandrants.
The appearance of a "block" in item form and when placed in the world can be totally separate, and are controlled by different .JSON files. Apparently you just changed the item one.
Oh, phew I get. I though that top picture showed on block each, but you're saying it shows four blocks each. I feel foolish now, and that means everything is right with the world!
Oh, yeah, I see what you were seeing. Totally understandable.
Well with graphics set to fancy I can see through the leaves really well using the spring version, but the regular version is nowhere near as see-through for me.
Ah, yeah, Minecraft is weird and picky about how does the edges of those textures when reduced down. Apparently my new photoshop saves things a bit differently. I'm glad it is for the best.
I personally do not like the brick-like texture of the andesite, diorite, and granite blocks. I often use the Andesite to offset and accent regular stone bricks. Just my unsolicited 2 cents.
I just changed the edge of the polished stone blocks to match the style of newer and better textures.
Also, the spring version of Lithos is gorgeous, and really makes dealing with large oak trees much more manageable. The really full foliage variant of 2x2 spruce trees are really gorgeous too.
How does it help dealing with the large oaks? The color and brightness are different, but currently nothing else has changed. Though there is more I'd like to add to Springtime in the future...

Yes, I haven't noticed anything wrong with it, but then I'm usually in 1.9 since the snapshots started comming out.

IIRC different resolutions causes the same problem with shields
