One of the most important resources for anyone making a resource/texture pack, is to have a copy of the default resources— for the version you are working on. This lets you see the correct folder structure, and what all the files should be named. Mojang likes to rename a bunch of files about every other version, so you can’t rely on old information remaining true.
Bedrock:
If you are working on Bedrock check out this link: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/addons/ Scroll down to the bottom for a small link for “resource packs”. You’re done!
Java:
The default textures are a harder to get from Java, but the game has already downloaded every verision of minecraft you have played. If you want the resources for a new version of minecraft, make sure you start it up, to make the launcher download it.
For Os X you need to go to Library/Application Support/Minecraft/Versions/ If you can't see the Library folder it's probably hidden. "Shift" + "Command" + "." will reveal the hidden files and folders in whatever finder window you currently have active.
For Windows you need to go to .minecraft/versions/
There you should see a lot of folders. Choose the folder named with the version of minecraft you want.
Inside will be two files. You want the .JAR file.
Using your .ZIP opening application of choice, open it up. If your .ZIP app doesn’t want to open it, you may need to make a copy of the file, and replace the .JAR with .ZIP.
Inside will be a ton of cryptically names files. Don’t worrry, you only need one thing— the “assets” folder. There you will find all the default resource.
When assembling your resource pack, assets, goes directly inside the folder that names your resource pack. So for me it’s Lithos-Core/assets/ and all the folders under that will mirror the folder structure in the .JAR.
Mod support is mostly added by volunteers. I'm too busy with Java and Bedrock to work on it myself. I always like the idea of more mod support, but I can't make it happen by myself right now.
I am thrilled to announce that I've partnered with Syclone Studios,(@Syclone_Studios) and Lithos will be coming to the Minecraft marketplace in March! It is exciting to see several months of hard work nearly come to completion.
One only appears on when you look from two of the 4 sides, and is a single line. That's the optifine bug.
The other appears from all sides and has a double line in the middle of the bloc. This one i've fixed for the next release. Previously on twitter I said the fix was in the current release. It is hard keeping what's in all my versions and releases straight.
Most of the mod support is contributed by volunteers, (on our discord channel: https://discord.gg/AkjhYm ) though sometimes I get around to it between versions.
I would welcome more textures from those mods, but I can't predict want somebody else will want to work on. Thaumcraft has been in my pack in previous versions with pretty good support, so a lot of textures are done, it is a question of renaming things properly.
Multi-file search/replace is indeed invaluable. I'm currently getting that from BBEdit.
There is no script-refactoring left to be done for Lithos (that I know of) The horse graphics need to be redone to fit the new model, and the custom format for fonts, has been replaced with a standard (but totally different one).
However i haven't done any script-refactoring for Visibility.

What are you trying to access? I probably have all the old files.

My Apologies.
There are two similar gliches.

A fix for the bigs you've all reported in the 1.13 version is now available.

Thanks for the report. What version of MC and Lithos do you see this in? A fix is possible, but 1.13 is the priority right now.
