posted a message on How to teleport people using command block

I am using a very simple teleport command for my random generated teleporter-structures, wich teleport players back to ground zero.

    tp @e[type=player,sort=nearest,limit=1] 0 63 0

It limits the teleported players down to one per activation but i cant say what the minimum distance you need actually is.

Since i am using a noteblock + observer to trigger the commandblock it's fine to me.

And yes, i have to make sure what zero zero looks like before i use it to prevend myself from suffocating in mountains ect.

Also i am no good at command syntax, i have to google almost everything. So this works in 1.16+, haven't checked versions below.

Alright. And am I able to sell it as a gamepack if I used my own resource pack, mod and world?

I can't answer that. Make sure to read the licenses as well as the minecraft eula.

You could set up a worldborder. That way you don't need to worry about the generation too much.

Here is a link to the commands:

Also, since they don't burn maybe they don't float too ;)

    This one does.
I think the problem with warped and crimson boats is that they wouldn't burn.
So you could place them on lava. That would make striders nearly useless.
Tbh i'd love to have a warped boat, even if it wouldn't work on lava.

My suggestion, Netherite and Diamond Armor should have less Melee Protection.

But here's the catch. You can put Chainmail armor underneath any other armor, making the Melee Protection max out.

I think this would be a really good addition to Minecraft and still fit Minecraft as a theme, because thats how Chainmail was used in real life.

This could also open the door to stackable Elytra/Chestplates.

Dosent fit the topic, but I think it would be cool to be able to craft totems onto shields.

Good idea. But then chainmails should have less protection, somewhat like leather. For gameplay balance of corse.

I thought full enchanted netherite is too strong when it was introduced but when i met the piglin brutes i wasn't so lucky anymore.

Most bobs seem week, yes. Especially skeletons. But the brutes aren't. And i don't want to play on easy mode when i enter bastions.

    :)

Yes you can. The most useful part of mcreator is procedures. You can code complex algorithms with it, wich would be a pain using comand blocks.

Check out the mcreator procedure tutorials on youtube, they are incredibly useful. Start with something easy, like how to make a furnace with mcreator.

A furnance might sound easy but it's a very complex block when you dive into it.

posted a message on On my friends smp, how do i get rich?

    My technique:

I dig down a 2x1 hole down to Y10, carefully standing in the middle. (holding shift)

Once i am there i mine 1 block further and place a torch at the entrance of my Y11 tunnel,

where i plan to start stripmining.

After that i swimm back up using water bucket. Once back on the surface, i wait for the remaining water to dissappear.

If that's done, i place a block over the part i want to jump down and a slab on top of the water so i can swimm straight up the waterfall.

The goal is to have a mine entrance leading to Y11 wich i can jump down and swim up without any risk of taking falldamage or wasting wood for ladders.

It's a very fast and effective setup for lazy miners. You don't need much ressources to start stripmining. Just a bucket of water, some logs and something to eat.

We need more armor and weapons because people will get bored of netherite and diamond and may quit Minecraft

    At least add copper armor

When it comes to fashion, that is what skins are made for.

Armor has to be useful in the first place.

Imagine Mojang would announce a huge 10+ new useless armor update.

Do you realy think people would return to or buy minecraft just for that?

Armors and weapons are common suggestions. Especially the emerald / ruby stuff.

These things have been suggested over and over. But it's not just about the material, it has to have a purpose.

-Leather armor will keep you warm in 1.17

-Iron armor is like the standart armor wich you have to mine in dangerous areas. (below sea-level)

-Chainmail armor doesn't have a certain purpose in the current version, it's the same quality as iron armor

-Gold armor makes piglins passive agressive

-Diamond and netherite don't need further explanations

If you suggest something, give it a purpose, a niche!

posted a message on How to get xp fast

Thats's interesting. Automatic xp-banks are awesome. I used to combine a cacti tower with a bamboo farm.

It was super slow becouse my bamboo farm was way to tiny for the incomming cacti. I had to automatically lock the fuel input.

I build it after the 0-tick glitch was fixed.

If i build that bank again, im doing it so, that every bamboo plant gets harvested alone.

So no piston row activation, im abusing the noteblock next time. ;)

If you make an auto-cooker with smokers(normal furnaces work as well for this) where a chest on the top is feeding “cookables” into the top of the smoker and a chest feeding a fuel source into the side constantly and put a chest to take the cooked product out of the bottom the smoker. The purpose of this is that the smoker keeps storing the XP you get from smelting and to collect it just put a level somewhere on the furnace to stop the “feeding system” from removing stuff and take a piece of the “cooked product” out it’ll give you all of the XP that’s been being stored up.

This can get you just as much or more XP than what the Ender Dragon drops and the best part is is that you can just power this simple machine with potatoes since you can cook them and you can get a LOT of potatoes easily if you farm them. Also you will need 3 hoppers to make this machine.

I've heard that is a new exploid. But does it work on java version? The tutorials i have seen are from bedrock players.

posted a message on About fishing in Minecraft...
Do you guys fish in minecraft?
    Well, let's talk about it!

The first time i used a fishing rod was in my very first world, when i wanted to get a saddle!
It took me 1 and a half rod to get one. After realising how much fun it makes to ride a horse in a forest,

    i didn't fish for a long time.

That was untill i discovered that fishing can be automized to get enchanted books...

Nowdays i am a nomad. I spend the most time traveling the overworld of singleplayer worlds and servers.

The fishing rod seems to be a good tool for a playstile like mine but i rarely use it. It is incredibly useful on anarchy servers,

where you have to travel 10k blocks from nuked spawns to finally find trees. A true live saver indeed!

It's also a good choice if you want a full enchanted bow.
    But what about books?
In my opinion it's not a good choice if you want enchanted books.
You need incredible luck to get what you want in a short time and afk fishing isn't allowed on most servers.

On top of that fishing was nerfed again in 1.16
I think that's strange. Fishing for books is already so boring, why was it nerfed this way:

In order to catch items in the treasure category, the bobber must be in open water. This is technically defined as the 5×4×5 vicinity around the bobber (2 blocks away horizontally, 2 blocks above the water surface, and 2 blocks deep)

True, you can buld yourself a save treasure-fishing house in short time. But the AFK fishing machines have also been nerfed.

When i saw Ilmangos new design i thought: Yeah thanks but no thanks. I'm using auto-fish modifications now.

    And i don't think it's morally wrong.
I mean... you rightclick and wait. Without fishing-enchantments i feel like i should be fishing in real life instead of wasting electricity.

But this thread isn't about if it should be allowed to autofish on servers.

It's just about sharing your thought's about fishing in general.

posted a message on Beach generation and new tree

Here is a list of items, wich i think might fit into the sandcastle lootpool.

    -wooden sword

    -wooden shovel

    -wooden axe

    -bucket (rare)

    -cookies

    -flower pot

    -sticks

    -seagrass

    -water bottle

    -kelp

    -Lead (rare)

    -feather

It's actually hard to imagine, what a villager kid whould possess as toys.

Anyway i think the loot shouldn't be of great value. It would be very cute to have sandcastles in the game.

The sandcastle is a fun idea. I don't like your design but the very idea.

As loot it could contain cookies or wooden tools. Nothing powerful but things you could see as "toys" or kids treasure.
