You install Liteloader along with Forge? It's seriously easy. I wonder about people complaining about Liteloader sometimes.
People mock and say bad things about what they don't understand, everyone does it. Liteloader doesn't really seem like that much of a hassle to me? It seems these forums are where people go when they don't know something, I mean just google "Liteloaded with forge 1.8" and the second result is a video tutorial on how to do it?
for mac (os x lion or mountain lion) be on finder, click on 'GO' at the top, press option and hold, click on library, go into application support - minecraft - bin and there is minecraft.jar (open with stuffit expander). for snow leopard go into your home folder - library - application support - minecraft - bin and there is minecraft.jar (can open with archive utility.)

Server Experiences: I've been on several servers, griefed-(before I got protections) and tp killed-(I was monitoring for the co-owner and someone said that someone was breaking the rules and to go o them and take screenshots.) I am very patient when it comes to these things and I can make things like redstone clocks, timers, command block systems etc.(though it may not matter on the server.)
PROBLEM-I have to original MacBook laptop and I recently upgraded form snow leopard to mountain lion. My Minecraft takes 20 or more minutes to open and it is the same for everything else java related, I can't even open java preferences. The only help I could find was for the error message (fixed that without any help), although I didn't get that same error message I got a message telling me it was blocked in system preferences so I fixed that.
Can anyone help me?
SOLUTION-The problem was I had java version 7 update 9 when I should have had update 10. I went to the Java website and went to help, messed around clicking URLs and a box came up saying there was a newer version of java available for download so I clicked download and installed it and Minecraft runs fine.
