Is there any way to prevent dirt from spawning at all? I want to create a barren world, with no dirt and no vegetation at all. I've tried changing all the dirt settings to 0 but it still generates dirt at the top.
Since I've had people ask I'll mention it here; We only have a few rules in place:
1. Be helpful (this isn't asking you to devote your time to other players, just don't run off and do your own thing for no reason. Why are you on a server if you're looking for single player experience? Bring a friend and build anywhere you want)
2. Don't wreck stuff (the basic no greifing, stealing, ignorant destruction of buildings or landscape. The world is a regular randomized terrain, but we're doing what we can to keep it looking somewhat pretty. Please don't chop the bottom of trees off and let the top stay floating - it's ugly and ridiculous.
3. Listen to the admins - we're here for a reason. we aren't going to give you levels, let you fly all over the place, or give you free items to decorate your house. This is a survival server and we're doing everything we can to keep it that way. On that note, duping is a quick banhammer with no warning.
If you can follow those simple common sense rules and enjoy playing with other people (even just your friends), then drop your in game name on here and myself or another admin will make sure you're added to the list. Once we get another city or 2 up and running we'll have a short video showcasing the server and it's features... at that time it may not be so easy to join in the fun.
