It's entirely impossible to know what happened exactly, As far as the Minecraft forums Eloraam's account has not been "active" since august 4th 2012 so there may be significantly more going on then any of us are aware of.
I'd suggest people be far more concerned about if she is alive/healthy and less about when will a mod be updated.
and despite the fact that she hasn't been active on the MC forums, the new version is almost ready for 1.4.5 (which we know from Direwolf/slowpoke/others) so I'm pretty sure she's not dead.
Dec 7, 2012and then when the new version came out, people would complain that they had to spend all 35 seconds to download the mod again through adfly, and there would be people who wouldn't download the revised version and would still complain about the blocks that were broken.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
all in all, normally just waiting until the update is bug-free is easier by far. this time is only a bit different because of how long it's been since the 1.2.5 version.
Dec 3, 2012As was predicted thousands of years ago, RP2PR6 will be released on December 21, 2012.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
of course, it would be kind of disappointing if that's what all the hype is for. Don't get me wrong, RP2 is great, but I'm not really sure it deserves THAT much PR.
Dec 2, 2012Yes. We've ALL had that error.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
not to sound mean, but this would be easier if you searched the thread for the error you get. the multitude of posts with that same error in it referencing Eloraam's blog should be enough to answer your question.
Dec 1, 2012I'm a bit surprised dire decided to build an entire ore-processing station into his mining platform. He seems like the kind of person that would realize he could just connect the output from the BBs into an enderchest linked to the one he already has set up, without wasting a bunch of resources on a decond processing system AND a system to sort his fully-processed materials. Either way though, tube frames look really nice.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
And saul? shut up. I don't believe anybody wants to hear your _endless_ complaints, and you're spamming the thread with them.
Nov 25, 2012PEOPLE.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Please. I'm going to leave a bit of blank space in here so that everyone can just take a moment to chill, OK?
Alright, is that better? We don't need to close the thread.
All the people who are talking about how the thread needs to be closed: just stop. stop posting about how you want the thread closed, about how people keep bumping with useless posts (HINT: you're doing it too when you do that). It's not necessary at the moment, and people have heard your opinions.
All the people who are talking about how bad a dev Eloraam is, how this mod will never be updated, how this mod SHOULD never be updated (or released): Also, just stop. No-one wants to hear you talk about it. We know what your opinion is. if you feel that way, that's FINE. I don't need to change your opinion, but reposting it just adds to the flames.
Now, can we at least _TRY_ to keep the thread on-topic? Talk about the 1.2.5 version, speculate about features of the 1.4.5 version, but let's try to not touch on release dates or anything related to them.
Else, this thread will *have* to be closed because it would just become a flame war until release, and nobody wants that to happen.
Now since I actually want to stay on topic as well: I recall someone saying something about how the sortron works?
From what I can understand, each block and item is assigned a numerical value (Item IDs? that could be useful) and the sortron can color-tag that item like a sorting machine. it also keeps track of the number of items in an adjacent chest.
AFAIK it can work much like a manager in that it keeps a certain number of items in the adjacent chest when possible.
From this, is it possible that the sortron can keep track of the items in other chests in the network as well? I can see that being very useful, and it would be essentially the computerized equivalent of having a manager in place at each chest in the network.
Oct 5, 2012srsly, My comment got deleted for referencing (and not replying to) the giant argument that got deleted? cool, mods. real cool.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
since this is NOT intended to be an off-topic post, I have the feeling that the 1.3.2 version will be released this weekend. anyone else with more specific speculation?

Buffer from Immibis Stuff Mod allows that it makes a stack out of items
this post is wrong.
In case anyone doesn't understand immediately, this is what's wrong with it.

it's a mod. if you want to talk about the mod, talk about that, not the fact that it's part of a BS modpack.
in other news, I hope eloraam will bring some of the new in-development features to the first 1.3 update (or the first stable 1.3.x version update anyways)
Jul 8, 2012even if MC didn't crash, there's probably something in the modloader.txt (or whatever it's called now that modloader is part of forge). post that (in a spoiler) and then we may be able to help you.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

Apr 5, 2012The idea of an igniter is no where near original, its been around for a while. This modder you speak up litterally just picked it up and claimed it at theirs. The item was and probably still is considered a staple of that particular mod. Just because you've done the same is no reason for you to be shamefully acted upon. In the end who has the mod that compatible with everything, doesn't eat 40 million sprites, and 40 million block ids. Oh yeah that's right, that's you.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
In the end of it all its content vs content w/ versatility. That scale is no where near balanced, and your on the "right" side of the scale, the better side, the more freely open side. Besides when you look through the pages of both threads you notice drastic and extensive differences - one of constant trolling, and reverse trollinig - and one of a community people who help each other, the ones who know no better, and have fun and chit chat. I will leave it up to you to decide which is which.
If you want to play that particular mod you have to give up everything, everything that uses the imperial API that enables so many modders to create such amazing mods without the need to worry about compatibility. You end up with the bare essentials and nothing else. Why give up so much just for that mod?
I don't quite understand why we even focus on negativity, sometimes its required, sometimes its not. The internet is one of those places in the universe that we don't need to pay attention to negativity, let's all be happy . With that said, anyone who respectively and constructively criticizes [a mod] should not be chastised, or ignored.
