The hell? He already has the game, hes just wondering if he should wait to start his new world for the actual release, not just the pre release. I say just wait. If you cant wait a few days to play a game, then you may have other problems. Not intended to be mean, but i think you get my point.

i recommend using a zombie spawner. its really quite simple. dig down one block, place water soarce in a corner, in the opposite corner, open a hole in the corner, 2 blocks off the ground. you will get drops and XP from the zombies, but they wont kill you.

press the left mouse? oh, you want more creative. i would aggressively press the left mouse, with a grimace on my face, screaming " THIS IS HOW I SAVED CHRISTMAS",then go make some toast.

this exactly. im tired of seeing new adventure maps constantly popping up, all with the same central concept. spawn with or collect some items, and herp derp your way to happiness with certain rules.

yikes, minecon is still a month away! oh well, ill start a new world, then mc edit if needed.

thanks for the quick relpies. this isnt true though, cause lets say that natural pyramids are implemented in 1.1, even if you generate new chunks in your 1.9 world, you wont be able to generate them. i forgot why, but there was a thread about this. so im starting my new world i now i suppose! if worse comes to worse, ill delete all the chunks im not using with mcedit, to generate ALL new content :smile.gif:.

hello fellow minecrafters, i was just curious when it will be safe to start a world that you will be able to keep, with out having to worry that notch will change the land generation. i have always liked to play on worlds for months at a time, but with the new updates, i seem to have to start a new world every update. i understand that noones forcing me to make a new world, but i like to have all the features that the game has to offer. if anyone has any idea when, or if i can right now, that would be great! thanks!
